Talkshit are saying they have it from a trusted source inside Chelsea that a fee has been agreed between Chelsea and Barca (not transfer completed as they earlier said) This was from Georgie Bingham to a Chelsea fan on the phone, just after 7pm.

Not quite CT but obviously a reliable source.

Goal suggesting we've bid for Fabregas as well as Chelsea. I don't really believe that. Mourinho long balling the situation and saying nothing will happen until after the World Cup. He doesn't sound very keen but Fabregas may end up there anyway.

Isn't there an ex-Chavski player that still works for the club and for TalkCockneyRightWingBullshit as well? Might well be him.

Fuck me, you are a tiresome prick!

I'd wager more posters would rather have Phips and Saul on the site than you - starting with me. Do us all a favour, get your cook books and porn mags out and go shag a fucking apple pie. Anything but being on here.

In fact, you know what, if people say they prefer you to Saul and Phips 1) I'll be fucking amazed 2) I'll fuck off. The other way round, you fuck off?

What do you reckon? I know what you're thinking. Have they got more ball lickers than me? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But you've got to ask yourself one question: Do people prefer hairless obnoxious cunts? Do ya feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?

Not being a regular or long-standing member of this forum, the whole crux of this argument has baffled me.

You call yourself Doom Merchant, but all you do is come on here all day spouting this 'optimism'. What's this all about?

I remember as a 12-year old being at Maine Road when Trevor Francis scored a wonderful goal against Wolves, City were top of the league and as far as I was concerned, we were champions-elect of the First Division, we had the greatest player in the world, and our manager was a flaxen-headed genius. Within 18 months, the greatest player in the world and Fogwell Flax had gone, we were being managed by the bloke who did the voiceovers on Sale of the Century and he relegated us. The next season I had to learn the names of the Scottish Premier League 1978-9 All Star XI that suddenly made up our first team.

The lessons of this being that for Manchester City, all this - David Silva, Kun Aguero, Vincent Kompany, being favourites in derbies, trophies, titles - could be gone in a heartbeat. This is what all the other members of this forum I think must have at the recesses of their minds, and what you, this self-styled Anti-Doom Merchant, seem to be fighting against.

It happened again in the 90s... from the road to Wembley to the road to Wycombe within 5 and a half years, though this time, I was fully expecting it. All of it. Even Steve Coppell. I had learned my lesson.

Furthermore, in the 80s and 90s, we were at least competing on a fairly level playing field. Nowadays, we are in competitions where the people who run the competitions hate us, and want us out as quickly as possible. Therefore they spend their days thinking up new rules and regulations to hinder us, and assist our rivals... to unsettle our star players and make them want transfers to Real Madrid, and prevent us getting any new ones.... and this they will continue until they deliver their objective.

So I fully expect to City to start season 2018-19 managed by Ralph Milne and our 'star' player to be a former Dundee United trainee on a free transfer. Don't come here with your 'optimism'. What do you think we are, potential 'champions' or something?

According to Twitter, the 'most reliable radio station in Spain' is reporting that Barcelona have accepted Chavs bid for Fabregas.

I don't want him to leave either in spite of his bullying tendancies. A decrease in hubris would be welcome though. We're grown ups we don't have to love each other to occupy the same space.

Nah. This place really is full of idiots now and, because we've no one to moan at, people who make up weird conspiracy bullshit stories.

The amount of negativity here is hard to believe at times.

I'm neither leaving nor am I bothered by any of said "tiff."

I stand by what I wrote about poster's quality of dialog, etc. I feel we've got some really superficial blue moon-ish types who are spending a lot of time sharing their precious thoughts with us.

I'd suggest they instead grab their pipe and slippers and a good book and chillax for a while.

Also a gentleman never discusses the length of his penis in a public forum. Surely you'd have to get your ass to Fez and Nipple Tassels to talk to me that way. Wash your mouth out with soap please.

Cheers
