I fall out of love with football at times like this.

His latest tweet on his official twitter page says that. It also says that Dimitry his agent speaks for him. However in an earlier tweet he said not to believe anything that doesn't come out of his own mouth.

This is very different.

This is "shop window" stuff. That agent has gone directly to several news outlets including SSN and has stated in that interview that Yaya made that tweet because he has other people (ie this cunt) to "speak about the stuff he doesn't want to".

I have no problem putting him in the shop window if that's what he wants. If someone pays more than he's worth, take it.

So we get rid of one our main attacking threats and replace him with a defensive midfielder???

Great logic!

Regardless of whether Yaya leaves, it's a good thing you're not in charge of transfer policy!

well a real defensive midfielder is somewhere we are lacking tbh. yaya gets told to sit deep sometimes and do a 'job', especially last season. so you're saying we couldn't get another attacking mid or even push ferd up abit?

yaya is yaya, probably irreplaceable, but when he is doing a defensive job, he is shite.

think before you speak.

Where did I say we couldn't get another attacking midfielder??? YOU said we can cash in on Yaya and get a real defensive midfielder. Yet Yaya has NEVER been a defensive midfielder for us! He scored 20+ goals last season.

And you told me to 'think before I speak'.

You're really settling in well as the new paulmclaren on this board. Keep up the good work!

you're the one jumping down my throat about it. if this story is true, like many have stated, he can simply fuck off in my eyes and be sold.

your response was who do we replace him with? SO yeah get rid of someone who is one of our main attacking threats, because he is acting like a baby, angling for a transfer or pay rise.

if yaya has never been a defensive midfielder, you really don't know the history of yaya then.
Still here.

Wow...you're a smart one aren't you.

Two things:
- YOU brought up the type of player we should replace him with.
- I wrote that Yaya has never been a defensive midfielder FOR US.

As I wrote earlier, keep up the good work!

Actually Seluk said Yaya couldn't have tweeted the first two tweets because he was in Qatar getting ready for the World Cup which is true. He danced round the point that in that case how could he do the other two tweets? I suspect Seluk himself tweeted the last two in fury at being disowned. What Yaya thinks about all this we don't know. He hasn't picked the best season to have a fight with the Club because we are set to lose him for 6 crucial weeks for the Africa Cup of Nations. My betting is he'll be with us next season and actually Seluk isn't saying he won't. The only reason he'll leave is if City decide to get rid. I doubt they will.

Sorry to distract thread - but can anyone post or PM me some info on where our pre-season tours are please. Tried looking on OS but could not fine - just that I am in a pub with a mate and decided to cancel our Sao Paulo trip and therefore want to compensate by going on a pre-season trip. We are in a pub and want to book some tickets,

If thats true yaya is gaga. He sods off every bloody january to the african wotsitsface. Hes getting old now and we could do with losing the skewed wage bill for his temporary increasingly bad tempered services. Off you go then yaya, thanks for the memories but we are bigger than you and your daft car crash of an agent, CTID

That's not true regarding the BBC's source. When they first published the article about Yaya, they quoted the agent and stated they'd spoken to him.

As Ross said, compared to other websites, the BBC generally only reports a story if they have source and they consign the rumours into their gossip section.

So the agent was their source, who is known to spout bollox. It's the same as saying SSN has a credible source as they've spoken to the clown as well.

They took the info from his agent and decided it was true regardless

The agent is being interviewed on Talkshite after 7 tonight by that paragon of journalism known as Mark Saggers. Expect a well rounded interview there then!!

It definitely sounds like Dimitri Seluk is trying his utmost to unsettle Yaya and indeed try and manouevre him to either another club or holding us to ransom for even more money (which of course with FFP (fund for Platini) means we couldn't increase that too much anyway)

Interestingly, two of his earlier tweets, notably about the one for us fans to judge him by his performances for City, have been deleted from his Twitter account. The two remaining are:

"Thanks for all the birthday messages today. Card from City just arrived... Must have got lost in the post. Haha"
and
"Everything dimitry said is true . He speaks for me . I will give an interview after world cup to explain"

It does make you wonder if someone else and/or Seluk has access to that, there's no consistency between those and the two deleted ones. What would nip it all in the bud nicely if Yaya himself comes out and basically gives Seluk a verbal bashing, but sadly, knowing how petulant on some occasions Yaya has been on the pitch this season (which we've been willing to forgive due to his goals and performances on the whole) it makes you wonder how much of an influence Seluk has. Yaya did name one of his children after him, after all..

Well Yaya did say that everything his agent said is true. If that's the case and he wants to leave because no one shook his hand on his birthday then ship his ass out. That's such a prima donna thing to be upset about.

Basically. Yaya is 31 and probably his agents biggest financial asset. Thats all there is to it.

Nothing to see here.

Was just about to post that two tweets have been deleted, notably the one where he says others don't speak for him. It's like the first two were from a PR company distancing him from his agent and the second two were from his agent distancing him from his PR company.

Very bizarre and Yaya needs to come out and confirm which ones are true and then change his Twitter password.

Know one knows who made that tweet. The majority of these professional athletes and celebrities don't tweet anything. It's either their managers, agents or a company they hire. UFC lightweight champion Jon Jones hired a PR company to run his twitter account. According to his manager 10 people have access to his twitter account.
