Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

He's just said to a ssn reporter
"Man United are the greatest club in the world and I would love to manage them"
What is that based on? European trophies? Good looks?
Just goes to show how long it has been since he did anything of real significance - the rags were world greats.

I notice that the Beeb's front page was filled by the non-story of Van Gaal not signing for the Rags. You'd never guess there was a big game tonight.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Oh good, loads of puff-pieces in the media then.
Only got a three year contract, so pro-rata with Moyes, will be out in 5 months?

Do you know what? I couldn't give a monkeys toss who their new manager is. It could be President bleedin Obama for all I care. The irony is that at the precise point my phone alert pinged the news I was taking advantage of my day off and watching a sky recording of the city qpr game. It still sends shivers up my spine. It was truly a magical moment never to be repeated. And the best bit was it was City. It meant the earth when it happened. We are a major club now, the best in Manchester, and the best in the UK. Fuck history. Its about the here and now. The press may like to think that United are still the story but we know different. Its great seeing United fall from grace - we all said they would when Taggart went - but Van Gaal, Pep, Fergie again - I dont care because they have to do some catching up and we ain't standing still. Our boards ambition is equalled by Uniteds debt. Up the City. Forwards and bloody upwards. I hope Van Gaal falls on his arse only out of the fact that it will fun to watch but City is what it is all about and we are ahead of the pack and we are going nowhere.

Our fading rivals appoint arrogant Dutch has-been as their new manager; he's forced to appoint former playing great/managerial headless chicken/serial adulterer as his 'assistant'.
Recipe for disaster! lol
Roll on the new season!

As much as I would love them to fall further away I think they will come back stronger next year. LVG will get RVP scoring lots of goals, Rooney will always score goals too. I think Mata will settle and improve and if they sign a couple of quality CBs they will have enough about them to challenge top 4. Their midfield is still awful though and that'll hold them back even if they do sign new players.
Still think we will enjoy another double over them this season!

We'll soon see that arrogant grin wiped off his face, once he realises what he's gotten himself into.
I'll bet Mourinho is already shaping himself a voodoo doll in the image of Van Gaal as I type this.

Hopefully those two will bait each other all season while Manuel keeps quiet and we sneak on the inside again.

Couldn't give two shits who they appoint as next year any improvement in the league will coincide with the fact they wont be playing mid week games in europe. As for the two hundred million to spend I doubt such a vast amount will be available due to ffp and drop in wafa cash!

Yeah; can't wait
So we'll have Mourinho trying to out-mindgame his former mentor, and Mourinho's former protege, Rodgers, trying to out-mindgame
him.
Meanwhile, Wenger will be too busy counting the pennies to offer any real resistance to us.
How does winning the Premier League title with 12 pts to spare next season sound, lads?
