Gill needs to be next. Platini is just a mouthpiece for the G14.

Looking at the fucking state of him after a typical half time break bucket of cheese, duck in lard & flaggon of red wine, it won't be long.

Commiserations to his family at this sad time etc but... it's a fucling shame he didn't land on Platini when he fell.

At least then the cartel has a face. He was already doing their bidding anyway. A proven failure in matters of finance, as well as an allegedly dodgy cunt who presided over a corrupt government in Belgium, fucked up terribly in Rwanda, & was ironically accused of a cover up of cancer causing agents in Belgian produce, for which the two highest ministers involved resigned. A company of which he was a director, went bankrupt due to fraud by the management. Also,he apparently had a grudge against the British.

You would wonder which of these particular skills led him to the appointment of FFP director. I would suggest; all of them.

Good riddance.

Didn't know a fuck about it until Martin Samuel pointed him out. Achieved quite a lot by the looks of it. His government also accused of covering up for a serial killer.

Anybody see the reports on Blatter basically saying that they got it wrong regarding Qatar hosting the WC? Apart from him stating the bleeding the obvious I wonder if Qatar are now pushing back against the governing bodies regarding their sponsorship of PSG?

Blatter said: "Of course, it was a mistake. You know, one makes a lot of mistakes in life.

"The technical report indicated clearly that it was too hot in summer, but despite that the executive committee decided, with quite a big majority, that the tournament would be in Qatar."

He added: "No, I have never said it was bought, but that it was due to political considerations."
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

Snap. He sounds a right one. Ideal for Uefa.

It looks like we have accepted a lot of restrictions that we had planned to meet anyway, on the basis that we will then be clear of most if them after one season.

These directly affect the squad;
-
- The MCFC Champions League squad for the 2014-15 competition will be limited to 21 players. In 2013-14 the club registered 23 players for the competition and used 21.

- The Club's expenditure on new players for the upcoming summer transfer window, on top of income from players it might sell, will be limited to 60m euros. This will have no material impact on the Club's planned transfer activity.

- The wage bill of the whole club (playing and non-playing staff) for 2014-15 will need to remain at the same level as that of 2013-14 season. It is important to note that additional bonuses for performances can be paid outside this number. Importantly, in reality, the existing MCFC business plan sees a natural decline in that wage bill.

On the while looks positive for us, a few restrictions for one year then clear.

Club saying they didn't plan to spend more than 60 million net on new players this transfer window nor increase wage bill. They also say we only used 21 for the CL and will not have to pay the suspended part of the fine because they are confident the business plan will be fine proof for 2015/2016. I think we should trust the club. It's a bump in the road and it sticks in the craw but bottom line they intended to run at break even anyway so we just have to suck it up. Hopefully we will strengthen our defensive options and hang on to our attacking flair. Sounds pretty good to me.

I hate Financial Unfair Play like most others on this site but the Club has my full confidence. We're incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic owner and such excellent management. We've just won a magnificent double. Fuck 'em!

Feel sick thinking about UEFA's drove of pigs bellying up to the trough to help themselves to the Sheikh's €20M.

Pure, naked thievery.
"Certainly our programme is a full one, but as a player and as a manager I've always felt that there is only one way to go into a season...and that's to try to win every game.... While we are in four major competitions we shall try to win four major competitions." - Joe Mercer
