Good team that is...would be very happy with that.

I do not want De Mich or Dzonkey on the pitch at the start. Happy for them to come on later when we save Sergio's legs

I would be surprised and delighted if Lescott plays but expect it will be Demic again. As for who plays with Aguero ( he must start surely) I don't think it matters much. Both have been close to dire in training this week in terms of actual finishing.Probably just saving the good stuff for when it matters.

I think Aguero has at max 50 mins in him. Considering that I think it might be a smarter move to let those 50mins be the last 50 when Sunderland are more tired.

True. Though if we can get a couple early on it'll be over.

Yep, difficult choice. Also if it goes to extra time you cannot take him off after 90 so you might risk another injury. Glad Im not the manager:P Pellegrini has it all to lose.

Great to see pants and aguero starting! Plenty of firepower in there, keep it tight at the back (no stupid mistakes) and lets get a cup!

If this game was Liverpool v Sunderland, would Sky have two ex Sunderland players, one neutral, & an ex Utd player as the commentary team ?

Ever ?

Gary Neville just showed the highlights of Demichelis costing us the goal v Sunderland, that poor ol micah, who is doing nothing wrong whatsoevr, got the blame for.

Quite funny to watch it again & see how completely utterly blameless Micah is & Demi absolutely isn't.

Demichelis should be able to pass the ball around in a game like today though, so it's not that bad a selection on paper apart from the sentimental aspect of rewarding Lescott.

Redknapp actually recons Sunderland will be talking in the changing room about targeting him though & Quinn more or less said the same would happen 'if' Demi played.

He really is rated as very very poor, by the football community outside City.

Tell you what. If we lose this because of Demichelis, then Pellers aint the man for the job.

His pace is a massive problem for startesr, then hes always out of position because he cant read the game fast enough. Those problems come together and thats why he dives in and makes shocking decisions, as for his passing game I actualy think from watching him he is rubbish on the ball. He will pass back at all times unless forced to go sideways, I have seen very few cutting forward pass's from him and very little in the way of taking players with him by running to make space for others. His all round game is simply the pits and I dont think I seen such a useless all round player for a very long time and my my god we've had a few over the years lol.

I do not understand why our season is at risk in general by having to field MdM....he's not terrible but he is an accident waiting to happen. We need to spend big and bring in 2 new center halves in the summer. One to be the first choice partner for vinnie and one as understudy

Hes a liability mate, and youre right about the summer.. but I'm on about this season. We have better options already at the club than him.

Hope we dont see Demi do a Lescott like against QPR.. How hard can it be to find a really good CB?!
