Next: FA Cup Draw | Quarter Finals

Postby AG7 » Sat Feb 15, 2014 7:36 pm

The Sixth Round (Quarter Finals) draw with Rob and Olly Lee will take place after the Everton v Swansea City tie at around 3.30pm on Sunday, 16 February, and can be seen live on TheFA.com and ITV. Can also be seen just before the start of Arsenal v Liverpool game on BT Sport.

The Draw Numbers

1 - Manchester City
2 - Sheffield United or Nottingham Forest
3 - Arsenal or Liverpool
4 - Brighton & Hove Albion or Hull City
5 - Wigan Athletic
6 - Sheffield Wednesday or Charlton Athletic
7 - Sunderland
8 - Everton or Swansea City

The quarter final ties will be played on 8th and 9th March 2014.

Which means our home game vs. Aston Villa in the league will now also have to be moved ... so we are sitting on three league games moved due to our great cup runs, the Sunderland, this Villa and the Scum away trip (already rescheduled to midweek later in March).

Also, the quarter finals will be on the weekend just before our Barca away game (12th March) so an easy home draw please ...

Anybody other than the winner of Arsenal/Liverpool will be great. Preferably at home. And ideally avoid Everton I guess.

Will we really end up with 3 games in hand after those games?? Thats crazy.

Yup, one's due to the CapitalOne Cup final (Scum away), this FA Cup quarter final will force the second one (Villa at home) and the third one is due to weather (Sunderland at home) ... wait till we get through to the FA Cup semis, that'll shift our Liverpool away game ...

Arsenal to route Liverpool so we can route Arsenal, preferably at home, and contribute to their trophy drought.

Hopefully Arsenal v Liverpool goes to a replay and we avoid them and Everton. Anyone else at home would be great.

Don't want to tempt fate but what are the odds of a City v Sunderland Final?

Neal if Southampton had played their first 11 today Sunderland would not still be in the cup.Crazy decision considering they have the week off now.

Probably end up getting them in the next round, go to a replay and we'll be sick to death of playing them over the next month

Lady year was Chelsea then Wigan. Maybe a repeat draw and hopefully not a repeat performance

One of the Sheffields or Forrest or Charlton who ever gets through their ties.

Home would be best but not for my bloody wallet!
