I saw for the first time tonight why we bought him. I hope this is a sign of things to come. Well played that man.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

If this was him being rusty, he could be some player once he fits in

Yes, the only positive to come out of tonight's game was his performance.

FFS please don't joke on a night like tonight. He really impressed me and the only bug bear i had was the beast was taken off for him as Dzeko was the player who should have got the hook.

Can't agree with that mate. Beast was appalling. Dzeko has been wayward shooting lately, but beast never looked like getting into shooting positions.

Sadly have to agree. Edin wasn't looking like doing that much but the Beast had one of those nights which make Altidore look good.

Still clearly not 100% fit but the signs are encouraging. If we can keep him fit for the remainder of the season he could have a big influence on our season.

Needs to start and play 70 or 80 against Norwich.
We lacked a decent link between the centre of midfield and the strikers until he came on and dropped deep to collect the ball. Had some nice touches and wasn't afraid to have a pop at goal.
The sooner he's match fit the better, we need him because this two number nines thing is getting old pretty quickly.

Agree, but if he has a little more in his locker, we may have a player.
