We may be playing poorly defensively, but there's no excuse not to give the defence an outlet

Make that 5, hart going long too now every time

The team have lost confidence in the midfield, and the forwards can't be expected to outmuscle Chelsea's defenders

This is just like the Bayern game. Pellegrini waited till we were 3-0 down before bringing Milner on. What is he waiting for?

You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer.

wait, you mean some pro players actually may know the game well enough to comment on the game well? i'm a bit shocked to be honest. as another fairly dumb american i thought they all sucked given what we hear from that english commentator michael owen.

;)

but really, a lot of the american commentators we have to endure that they throw out there tend to be bad because they are trying to cater to non-football watching/american sport fan audiences.

peace.

Being quite fair to us as well

Was just going to say the same, impressed with him. Fair to both teams, insightful, not cheaply critical.

You can see why we wanted the Octopus and Mangala. We could really do with them.

Demi stands there admiring the one good pass he does. Real footballers pass then make themselves available to the ball again.

Demichelis is barely moving and his inertia is hampering Toure's attacking capability. Dzeko bloody awful too.

Dzeko shite in front of goal. Misses 8 scores one. Shame teams like Chelsea don't give you 8 chances to miss before you score.

If we somehow manage to scrape a point or more from this game, Maureen will be absolutely ripping. They've hit the woodwork 3 times and battered us in the middle and on the counter. For Christ sake SCORE, I can just hear that smug cunt now....
