Agreed. I have an awful feeling about Mancini, totally unfounded admittedly but something just doesn't ring right.

According to the BBC Mancini is at the game today - if this is how Hughes is being sacked then I feel a bit bad for him.

do you feel badly for him buying fucking Toure, and naming him Captain...captain of crew shipping goals left and fuclin right?

he's a big boy...Hughes will find work in the Prem or the Championship if he truly is sacked. And he'll do exactly what he did at Blackburn with some shrewd buys and turn a bunch of cloggers and grafters into a group who can challenge for European spots.

Many of us have said from the beginning...the ability to take that type of team to the places he took Blackburn and Wales is totally different than taking a serious team of allegedly world-class talen to a higher level was always going to be his test. He'll learn a lot from this and move forward.

Just one step too soon for Sparky i think. This job will have made him ready for this job in a couple years. I wish him well if he's truly gone.

You do know that he upset a lot of people in Italy by selling boring Italians and replacing them with South Americans don't you?

The Inter squad under Mancini boasts no fewer than 15 South Americans, including captain Javier Zanetti. There are also Africans, among them the Nigerian Obafemi Martins, a Serb in Dejan Stankovic and a handful of Italians (five, to be precise). "As far as I'm concerned, they are all Inter players, and footballers are all alike," he said once after fielding an 11 without a single Italian player.

clearly he has no idea what Mancini's tactical approach is. I think the squad as comprised actually has a lot of the kinds of players Mancini would favor.

Read the article above, Mancini does not favour boring Italian-style football. End of story.

I'm not saying whether he deserves to be sacked or not - it's how we're going about sacking him (if at all).

How would you like to be in your last day at work whilst your successor sat there and watched?

Its not the way to conduct business and is certainly not the way I expect it to be done at City. There's no honor or respect shown in such behaviour.

take the emotion out of this bluejob. he prollee gets a nice package if he's sacked, and he's had 16 months to do this gig. I prollee sit in meetings twice a week with some fucler at my company who'd love to have my job and take me to the sword if i fuck up. That's life brother.
