Bang on. Also every other team now knows we can win in their back yard. That is priceless in our development not just this year but future years

A lot of people have said this but why would it have mattered if they equalised? It would have changed nothing whereas one more goal for us would have changed a lot.

I think we need to have more confidence in ourselves by the time we went 3-2 up we really had Bayern by the balls. They were shaken and looking shocked. Would have bee perfect to bring aguero on then as they were clearly looking shaky. A 3-2 win as brilliant as it was didn't actually change anything In terms of the group.

Last night was the latest in the category of Only at City.

Only at City could we field a B team away at the European champions, who are unbeaten at home since forever caning everyone, spot them a 2 goal start, roar back to win 3-2 .... and still end up getting a kicking in the press.

Proud of the performance last night and the result which I am sure will have got a few peoples attention. However, to not know the rules of the comp and that 4-2 would have won us the group - when they are paid zillions for their jobs - is piss poor.

I proud of our eccentricity and feel reassured that it is still the club I have followed so long :-)

Christ on a bike!!!! It was the 87th minute when he made that change ffs!! With the changes bayern made there was no way we were going to score another in 4 mins...in fact, we might have conceded......the win with our weaker side has done wonders for our standing in the World of football.

Yes, but not all of them. Muller said he knew, but he wasn't sure all his teammates did when he saw them storm forward in the final minutes. Neuer, similarly, indicated that he wasn't sure which result was needed, much like Milner.

I always call those last minute subs 'admin subs' - they add one to the player's 'match involvement' column so he gets closer to the total needed to stop him being able to rip his contract up at the end of the season. (If I'm right in thinking they are entitled to do it in certain circumstances).

We are really getting to them, eh?

This isn~t only the english media, but almost all of it. United is taking water like never did, they are going down, Fergie`s era is long gone, no more last minutes goals or pens, no more pressure and most of all, no more money.

For two years now, even if the won the title, WE ARE THE TEAM OF THE CITY, let`s get that settle in. We are the number one team in Manchester and we will be. Pellers has done wonders so far with our team and like Moth had a preview a while back, our ground became the chamber of torture.

With that said, the rag media will attack us more than ever.

And for you lot, just remember we didn`t went back last night after Milner scored, we tried to score the 4 one, remember the mistake by Dante with the Beast. Thet can fuck off, be beat the best team in the world with our B team.

No doubt about it.
But certain people seem to be missing the very basic point that IF(IF) for whatever reason pellegrini did not know what score we needed to top the group then that's a fuck up which needs seeing to.

Yes it's a bit of a dropped bollock but in the grand scheme it matters very little really. It certainly doesn't deserve the attention the press are giving it or the foaming at the mouth from some City fans. Laugh it off and move on.

I 've just chatted with an 1860 fan in Dallmyers Cafe. He had his sky blue jacket proudly showing. He was over the moon that we stuffed Bayern.'I hate Bayern', he said. He thought it was a great shame we didn't get the fourth too. I said to him, not to worry. Barca , Real , will want to avoid us.

All the comments regarding Real and Barca would want to avoid us and will be scared of us now and all that ... are a bit annoying.

Yes choice now in the draw will be that we would be one of the good teams in pot 2 (unseeded teams) but had we qualified as seeded, it'd have been Bayern in that unseeded pot ...

Even now if you ask anyone who'd they rather draw against in last 16, City or Bayern and the answer 10/10 times will still be us!

So what , stop whining , its not as if we were going to fuckign score again in 4 bastid minutes was it !! The way you go on about it, its as if us scoring again was a given !!

It has been said above many times , we might have drawn or worse if we had gone flat out for a fourth goal....our standing in world football went through the roof last night so enjoy the moment ffs !!
