Just noticed that from that penalty the ref gave Brom 3 yellow cards. The best sort of defence is to attack, eh Marriner!

Chelsea are shit. The only reason there in the top 4 is because of luck and dodgy refereeing decisions. Cunts!

Are you guys sure it was Mariner? The post-match report that I read said it was a different ref...

Just saw the penalty decision now. Its actually far worse than I was expecting it to be, and can't believe that got given or that Mourinho has the face to come out and claim it was the right decision. Amazing.

A dive for sure and I'm not far from agreeing with those who would put it into the "suspicious" category.

How the fuck could the ref give that, he had his whistle to his mouth even before Ramirez hit the ground! The ref must've been able to see Ramirez already going down prior to the contact.

It's a bit of piss-take on the fans who spend their hard earned money to attend games obly for the ref to rob them of success. Brom haven't beaten Chelsea in the league since '78 and since '83 in the cup, those fans that travelled would've known that and in the last minute would have been celebrating a historic win.

Marriner robbed them of that.

I SO wish any clear dive (like this one) could have the player banned for 10 matches retrospectively. If I could change/add any single rule in football it would be that, I detest diving and cheating in sport so much.

Hmmm a definite dive but not as bad as I thought it was going to be.Again though it's something a good referee should be aware of when a player is looking for the penalty and deliberately pushes his body into the defenders so he can react to the contact.

Onto the Naaarch game v WHU.How the hell did they win that one. Big Sam will be beyond livid.WHU were so much in control it was laughable in the first half and even in the 2nd it took dreadful mistakes to give Norwich their goals. That's what worries me tomorrow. We will dominate the match but if we don't score enough it might just take a mistake or two and some bad luck and it might be 4 in a row.

Just seen the Ramirez dive and the referee has a perfectly unobstructed view from the perfect angle.

My Pale Blue spectacles have been removed and now, looking at this cameo objectively, the only conclusion is that it was absolutely diabolical play-acting by Ramirez and even worse refereeing which condoned it.

Both of the 'culprits' in this pantomime deserve to be hauled over the coals for their actions and for bringing the game into disrepute.

It could easily make someone want to swear, if they had the necessary vocabulary to do so.

The good news is that chavs still dropped 2 pts and we can go above them with a win tomorrow.

99% of the time a manager will say his club/player deserved a penalty and that they deserved to win.

Very few will say "oh yeah, we shouldn't have gotten that pen"

Appalling.
The player for diving
The referee for awarding the penalty
Mourinho for advocating his players to cheat
The FA for allowing this cheating to go unpunished
The referees association for allowing Marriner to continue
Any pundit who condones it by saying trite things like 'did it for the team or 'there was contact albeit minimal'

I despise cheating and for me its worse than a hard tackle that injures someone (not an over the top studs showing tackle). Its underhand and snide and has no place in Professional sport.

And yet the big thing this season is 'goal-line' technology, which will affect the result of perhaps 2 games all season. Unlike this constant cheating, which will affect perhaps 2 or 3 top-flight games this weekend.

The reaction of a Baggies friend:
"The Premiership is corrupt from top to bottom and the officials are totally biased in favour of the top teams. The stench is almost tangible now we should have Spanish or Italian officials and the whole board of management should be removed.Sky and the introduction of the Premier League finished football as we knew it.Only the fact that you live and die with your team keeps me watching. We are OK should have 6 more points if not for diabolical decisions"

Just saw the incident. Ramires is on the way down before Reid comes anywhere near him and then Reid makes no challenge whatsoever. Never a penalty in a million years.
