I really hope not. He is one player I would love to see make it, he does seem to have what's needed with his cameos at the end of last season, just needs a bit of game time.

I'd be pretty upset with the manager if he didnt give him a chance when fit. I'd quite like to see him and Milner doing the role of yaya and fernandinho in the league cup game to see how they could manage together, as I think its a viable option and that we wouldnt lose much with that combination of energy and industry

I'd like to see the Milner/Rodwell combo aswell, would certainly inject some energy in to the team.

He is Khaldoon's favorite player, I do remember him saying that in his last talk. Rodwell is going nowhere

This week match with Stoke is going to give us glimpse of Pellegrini's squad rotation tactics

With Stoke on Saturday and champions league match on Tuesday, expect squad rotation and hopefully Rodwell will be in Stoke match.

He won't get used at the mo. Yaya's got to prove (he doesn't have to be subbed) and FerNando has to prove he's got a full game in him.

Quality player.Hopefully he will steer clear of injury this year and we will see a lot more of him. Some of his performances towards the end of last season were very encouraging.
