What a player hes become. Him and Negredo up front would work for me.

He is typical though of the young modern football player wanting stupid amounts of pay at a real young age. Surely you have to earn big bucks over time?

He puts a shift in though. Hes put liverpool up there tonight. Always told my scouser mates when the sold Torres they should have got Sturridge before wasting all that cash on Carroll.

Indeed second half today - united, we saw the old danny. Greedy, wrong decisions

Sturridge was becoming a very good player under us but everytime I seen him play it was if the game was all about him. It's OK being greedy when you're a striker but he used to do it on the halfway line when playing for us, arsing about with the ball, lose it and then complain to everybody that they weren't giving him an option.

At least we made a few quid back on him.

I knew he'd turn into fine striker eventually but what he was asking of us at the time was ridiculous and so he went. Can't even say we dropped a bollock there.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I knew we were losing a seriously talented player when he left. So did Mancini.

He didn't suit chelsea.

Didn't he leave under Hughes? I seem to remember that Mancini was angry about it.

I wouldn't swap him for any of our strikes though. As tempting as trading for Dzeko might be ..

As someone pointed out last week, if he had a brain and a willingness to learn he would be a fifty million pound player but he will end up a flash in the pan who never consistently performs at the top, he will do in spurts for the rest of his career.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody let Sturridge go. Go back a few years and the deal with Chelsea almost happened then.

I always thought that he defered the Chelsea deal then to get a better football education and he and his advisors had already decided, he would get a better deal when he was older.
Convinced he was always going to Chelsea.

I think Sturridge is a developing into a great striker. Regarding his transfers, he was doing what he thought was best for him but you should never trust a teenager to make the right decision. Shame we were not able to keep hold him.

Hoddle can fuck right off the fat fucking gimp. 'City turfed Sturridge out....', what an absolute toss-bag of a wanker he is.

Tell you what, you healing hands fuck, those healing hands will come handy in the next life as the amount of lie's you spout will surely be seen.
