Well Alvaro that should be in net

Is Joe Hart still the automatic number one?

No he isn't for me. Sadly.

I think we'll see Negredo pair well with some folks...could be Aguero, could be Navas, could be Jojo....let's see.

Am I the only one who is getting more excited about Negredo as the game goes on?

I can see him scoring plenty. I'm definitely in the "its good that he's there" camp.

One thing that Pellegrini seems to like is the fullbacks cutting inside to support the attacks instead of staying out wide - I'm a big fan of it in theory because as we saw almost every time Milner played last season out wide on the right it tended to blunt Zabba's attacking contributions.

What's to be expected? The players playing well are being praised so why not be critical of someone who is playing poorly.

I'm right there with you. gets in position to score and most shots are on target. Only a matter of time before it starts to click. The 1st goal for a new club can be a bit tricky/alusive for some

I just find it hilarious how after his first appearance people were raving about Negredo, and now you see some saying he won't make an impact cos he misses a few chances in a pre-season game. Just find it hilarious how quickly people change their minds or how they just ignore common sense.

Owen Hargreaves sounds like he would rather be anywhere else in the world but what he has to say is occasionally quite insightful

But he's not playing poorly. hes getting in position and being a threat. Could have done better on his chances but definitely not "poor"
