Some value in the betting

11/2 city to win
7/2 city next goal
4/1 city, draw no bet

Its got the look of a game where bayern could run out of steam with this side, or lose momentum as their subs come on, whereas I'd back us to shore up midfield a bit better.

If I was pellegrini though, I'd possibly be tempted to see how we carry on with the backs to the wall defending, its a great workout for us at this stage of pre-season and will do wonders for building our cohesion at the back

Boring plan but it almost worked.

Zabba looks like he's spent two months on the piss. Awful. Boyata is better than Garcia at cb. Barry looks like he's lost his mojo with this non contract lark. Not up.for it the same.

Bayern are a bunch of rags with a typical rag ref. Cunts.

I've been thinking this about Zabba as well. I know he has Ribery today, but he's looked a bit disappointing so far this pre-season. The way it stands, I think Micah has a chance to make a claim.

Panti is surely knocking on the door as well.

How much has Zabba actually played this preseason? Seems like Pellegrini has been concentrating on Micah so far, and Zabba is looking rusty (understandably).

Ribery was happy to see Boyata get a yellow.

IMO that was a fucking brilliant tackle but thats exactly why European games are totally wank. They are refereed completely differently.

His tackle actually saw him go over the top of the ball, so I can see why it was given even though the attacking player was never at risk. In a friendly, that should have been play on and a talking too off the ball

hes there to take chances that come his way, I dont care if he only sees the ball 3 times. He should as a top player make more of what came his way, 2 very week headers (shoulders) and a piss poor swipe at the ball near the edge of the box. Call it what you like but they were three very good chances and he made a mess of all 3 simples

Yeah that's exactly what people said about Balotelli. He was always in the right place and it was always everyone else's fault.

He's been gash.

these types of comments are gash. Lay off our new signing in a pre-season game. Mario hasn't done too bad at Milan either has he..

That's probably all it is. But he's been disappointing in the time he has played. Be good to have competition for rb though, can only make him stronger in the end. Well, until Micah gets injured again that is. Probably just after the window closes.

It's probably been said already but Negredo isn't a very exciting buy for me. Not sure what he does really well.

Is Joe Hart still the automatic number one?

Never ceases to amaze me how early people are actually willing to slag off some of our players. The season hasn't even started.
