Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Hadn't seen this posted, good news if it brings in new talent!
MANCHESTER CITY are ready to spend £3million to save Belgian club Royal Excelsior Mouscron from bankruptcy and use them as a feeder club.
City want to buy into an overseas club to help their top youngsters gain competitive experience.
Excelsior desperately need the investment to bail them out and help them complete their fixtures.
The Belgian FA have set Excelsior a December 4 deadline.
Any deal would also give City first option on Excelsior's young talent, including midfielder Maxime Lestienne, 17, who has attracted interest from Everton.
They want a club like Excelsior, who have twice competed in the UEFA Cup in the last 12 years, to help their youngsters increase their education before playing in City's first team in the way that Manchester United have a deal in place with Belgian side Royal Antwerp.
Arsenal also had a long-standing agreement with Belgian club Beveren. That agreement ended in 2006 when the Gunners were accused but then cleared of breaching FIFA's club ownership rules by loaning Beveren over £1m to secure their financial future.
Super-agent Pini Zahavi is also interested in helping to save the club.

What they're getting for their money is a a way of getting around the English work permit rule - stick a foreign youngster who would fail to get a permit into Belgium for a few years to gain Nationality (sorry, I mean 'increase their education') then they're free to work in Europe. Smart move and win-win.

Stuff the Belgium Club, what about this for the East Side of Manchester?
MANCHESTER CITY BILLIONAIRES TO TURN EASTLANDS IN TO LAS VEGAS
MANCHESTER City’s billionaire Arab owners want to turn the club’s Eastlands site into a £500million Las Vegas-style entertainment centre.
Sheikh Mansour is planning to buy the stadium from Manchester City Council and acquire more land around it.
He hopes the huge leisure facility will transform the area from a rundown suburb into a world-famous tourist attraction.
Top of his list is a theme park with rides to rival Disneyland. He also wants a casino, luxury hotels and shopping malls.
And the City of Manchester Stadium itself would become one of the biggest in the world, matching Real Madrid’s Bernabeu or Barcelona’s Nou Camp.
A source said: “ When Sheikh Mansour wants something doing then it is done. Money is absolutely no object at all. He will throw everything he has at it. Whatever is built will have to be the best. They know how to turn extraordinary dreams into reality.”
Some of the land had been earmarked for a super-casino before those plans were blocked by the Government.
ut the sheikhs think there will be no problem securing planning permission for their own scheme. The source added: “It would create thousands of jobs and be a massive boost for the economy.
“The brightest minds from the world of amusement rides will be brought in. Whether they build rollercoasters or water rides they will be the biggest, fastest and the best on the planet.”
The stadium cost £110million to build with £77million coming from Sport England and the rest from Manchester City Council.
It was from the Star though ;-)

That's it? That's the level of your response? Can't think of a comeback then? I guess this game is not for obvious losers then.

It says £3m so hardly in the same league! Dubai is in the tank for billions, they are already heavily supported by AD who can easily afford it.
Just out of interest doesn't the rule that caused Arsenal to pull out as stated affect our ability to "buy" a foreign club?
