Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

In each game we seem unable to change anything when the score changes, there are no substituitions save for like for like what is Hughes doing, has he no Plan B?
It may be my last year as a season ticket holder as it just doesn't seem the same with so few English and local players (but I said that last year)

hughes should sit everyone involved in the club down to watch villa v spurs. he might then see how attacking football should be played.

We don't even seem to have a plan in the first place. Once we have an A I might be an OAP (41 atm)
I don't feel constructive but I've been tiring of spineless performances. Where's the guts, where's the will to improve.
Where's the glow, where's the determination, where's the concrete to make some concrete shoes????

You've made a reasonable point here for the following reason: Hughes has repeatedly gone on about the need for options, the need for a variety of players in different positions, and the need to be able to change tactics mid-game..... but when have we seen this really happen ? When did he ever make a substitution or a tactical change that made the fans think "wow. I never saw that one coming"...
I must remember to get a new signature.....

Why not sending out the irrational Weiss the last 10 mins. He could've made the difference.

He did that today. Most of us in 125 never saw the 2 subs coming cos most of us know football. Why keep the same shape if its not working? I`ve never been MH out but he is trying my patience.I do beleive the job+expectation+big player egos may be too big for him

Ever tried coming on with 15 mins to go and making an impact in a football match? Not easy. He's not had a lot of playing time and think it's well harsh to single him out. I mean, worse than Samaras? !!?

Not worse than Samaras, but I am not sure he is good enough either. He hasn't had much playing time, but as the time has gone on he doesn't seem to be getting better either. I know he is still coming back from injury but then he should be playing in the reserves.
This thread also highlights another problem whenit comes to solutions, we have calls for Mourinho (ultra defensive boring football) and calls for more attacking football in the same thread. So which one should it be?
