also, if this Dzeko to Inter Milan for ~£25m is true, id take that in a heartbeat and buy Cavani for cash + Balo.

Intar just buy Rocchi i dont think any Italian club have money to buy any player over 10 maybe 15 mil and Cavani price is 50 mil. , he would be great but 50 mil. ,from year to year prices of player go up more and more . Two three years ago player like Cavani would be 25 mil. i think , but Ronaldo and Messi build up those price to sky high. so if Ronaldo is 120 mil or Messi is more, why Napoli cant ask 50 for player like Cavani , but it s become to much when i think that some whole championship is cheaper then one player it is bit crazy. Now u have only 10 or maybe 15 clubs able to buy players over 20 -30 mil. and not get in trouble.

I can't see us paying that kind of money for Cavani, unless we are ready to unleash our next set of sponsorship deals & tie it in with that somehow.

yea, thats why I included Balo in the deal. The Napoli president has been talking about how he would like Balo and the manager says it would be a fun challenge to coach him. Surely something like £25m + Balo would be a worthy sum.

Tbh, thr Napoli president has been talking [shite, as often] about how he wished to "pair" Balo with Cavani.
and that price, would definitely be an inflated one if ever was one.

He's a good player of course, but I'd prefer us to allow Garcia to come good. I think he's got more in his locker to become a better player than Modric. He just needs time.

Sneider! What a player, he'd slot into our side perfectly. Inter have accepted a bid of £8.2m from Galatasaray, doesn't fancy going there though. What a bargain buy that'd be!

Not to mention that he also appears to be one of the greediest cunts on the planet, he is already on sick wages at Inter but wants more or he won't sign a new contract.

This said the little dutchman is still the finest passer in world football. Worth a punt at 8 million and defo a better option than Nasri when fit.

The guy should have won the balon d'or a few years ago, he is that calibre. Not many like that about.

Would rather have him than Modric any day of the week, as he does stuff we actually need, like shooting & taking free kicks. Having said that, I'd rather have Frank Lampard than Modric too but would prefer to have none of those 3 & sign someone younger.

I've been loving Snejider and wished him to come for many years... now it must be considered a poor bet, unless coming in a Vieira/Maicon shape of bargain. He is crocked almost quite seriously.

Why is he seriously crocked? Did he have a bad injury, I can't remember.

This isn't true. Inter gave him a contract then after a couple of years decided they didn't fancy it and told him to take a pay cut or they wouldn't play him. That's why he's not playing. Worth £8 million all day long.

If City had any serious intent I think the business would be done by now.At least nothing of major significance will happen.Mancini has form for picking up the odd surprising deal like Pizzaro and Paddy V so could not rule him out of pulling some sort of a stroke before the window closes.

Personally, not spending big in the summer wasn't unexpected and I would be amazed if we spent big in this window. Marwood to blame again?
Whether we like or not, I still believe that what Kaldhoon said a couple of seasons ago stands true and the big cash has gone. Unless there is a major rethink, the big money was spent to get us into CL qualifying health, we have achieved that and that is where we will remain, except for a bit of tinkering here and there where money has been freed up.
The balance sheet rules and we are set to follow an FFP compliance policy. New deals may happen if we can bring in extra commercial income or sell player to cover the expense.
Bob will be forced to work with what he has got already, supplemented by our present academy. I think Bob is well aware of the situation and this is reflected by the number of younger players being brought in or put on the bench.
Both Razak and Rekik have made the 1st eleven, Lopes, Razak and Helan have come of the bench and got minutes on the field and Razak (7), Evans (4), Scapuzzi (1), Mappen-Walters (2), Nimely (1), Rekik (3) and Suarez (1), have all been unused subs. Also add to that, Boyata has been brought back from his loan.

It looks pretty obvious that we now seem to have a policy of improvement from within except in exceptional circumstances. Why else would we allow our two nearest rival (the rags and Chelsea) to strengthen with the likes of Van Penis and Hazard without attempting to match them?

Sure he will have been sat down and explained the situation fully and if he cannot grasp it then tough titties. The money is there if needed but not available to spend cause of ffp or what ever its called. Sell before we can buy and bring the kids along.

If he goes for a surprise I'd actually be quite happy to get Lampard, it would be nice to have a 15-20 goal scoring midfielder .... and I'm worried he will end up at the swamp
