It's a knocking bet that Paul is well steeped in City and more than likely a Blue.

Is that so?

Never knew that. Interesting fact.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

His biography on Wiki starts his playing career at Blackpool when he was 20:

"He made his Blackpool debut on 22 October 1973, two months after signing for the Seasiders............"

But something at the back of my head tells me he was at City as a youth player before signing for Blackpool, because of the Johnny Hart connection. I vaguely remember getting one of those signed squad autograph sheets as a kid with 'Paul Hart' (who?) on.

Either way it's a bad way to treat someone, BUT sometimes you just have to make a change. Lots of people have 'played well' and gone down.

And no-one can say managers aren't well-compensated for their troubles!

He was a good centre-half with Leeds in the seventies.

I would think about getting him in with the kids.
Your right leg I like; I've got nothing against your right leg. The trouble is neither have you.

Yes, they've had a former Chelsea manager lined up for some time.

Feel sorry for Hart. Came across as a decent type and I atully think Pompey are in a false position. Dead man walking though.

Re the 'former chelsea manager'; I had read that Avram 'recently exhumed' Grant didnae want the job yesterday. Football doesn't just direct itself you know.

Anyway considering how skinted they are he could be on a hiding to nothing taking the step downstairs.

Today appears to tell a different story. Also in the frame is Baby Baconface apparently, after leaving the Posh. Couldn't give a stuff who takes over really, but I'll be crossing everything for them on Sat against ManUre.

I have him as the first manager to get sacked on my predicitons you see...

I think so. I had him down on my predictions as well but everyone did so we've picked the next manager to be sacked. I've gone for Megson, still looking likely!

Just out of interest, is he any good at coaching defense?

Just you wait - after a respectable period has passed to make it look like they're searching for a replacement, young Baconface will pop up at pompey. (I bet the deal was done before he left Peterborough)
