I was disappointed as much as others with our lack of attacking mentality against Liverpool as they looked ready for the taking but looking at the away league table we are joint second and our tactic of spoiling play and working hard in a packed midfield is getting tanigable results. The cultural (winning mentality) change that was talked about by the club in pre-season is starting to take place away from home.

I've been to so many away games when the team looked beaten at the kick off. It seemed like they knew they would not win so what was the point. Now, it is an absolute pleasure to go to away games knowing that my team can finally compete and not roll over.

Ideal proof that life is good. If we had managed to beat Fulham & Burnley then everyones mood would be so much different. Things are slightly, and i mean slightly, behind where i expected us to be this far into the season. We will continue to drop points where we least expect and we'll collect points where we least expect but as long as we get back to dominating at home and keeping our away record going then life will be good.

Well we certainly showed we are the hardest team to beat this season, we just need to tighten up and bobs yer uncle. A very positive statistic that will have the negative people shaking their heads in disbelief.

Well, that really is interesting and I must say I'm a bit suprised.

Thanks for that WW, it makes for some factual, yet positive reading. Both of which were lacking seriously from the board yesterday.

If we hadn't been robbed at the swamp we'd be the only unbeaten side in all the top leagues in the world. It may not be as good as winning, but not getting beaten really does breed confidence a lot more that losing four and winning two.

Great foundation, we just need to make sure we continue to build and we'll be more than fine.

The same could be said about the actual league table...

Does it matter that we get into the top four because the team that dropped out was just so bad, moreso than us being so good?

This season is set up to be the strangest season for points ever in the premier league. We're not that different to the other top sides IMO.

Also worth mentioning is that Chelsea and the Scum have played 2 more home games than us. In fact, all the top sides have played more home games than us barring the Arse who are equal!
