I remember his face when he, Messi and Iniesta were on the stage awaiting for the result. Priceless.

What a cunt he is.

Hahah I remember his reaction..My facebook status was similar to your post.
He was very upset.

Could it be about this?

In May 2012, Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, decided to fund a pioneering treatment for a nine-year-old boy when it seemed that there was no hope left for the child, who has been battling cancer since before his second birthday.[194]

As much as I think he is slimy cunt on football pitch, off it he has actually done loads of things that makes me respect him. Not least adopting his kid on his own. Brave thing to do to be single father at the age of 25.

It is very hard to be a single father with over 1,000,000 euros paycheck every month.

Ummmm....what??? I assume you don't have kids yourself.

I'm sure he can buy his kid fancy clothes and feed him only the best baby food but the responsibility is the same for everyone, rich or poor.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Life would be easier with a nanny or two, though. Most single moms don't have that luxury.

True but having adopted his kid at the of 25 being single I highly doubt his plan was to let nannys bring the kid up.

Nannys are cheaper than child support when you have that sort of cash.

Who called it?
Ronaldo's return?

Man City are reportedly preparing a £95million bid to bring Cristiano Ronaldo back to England after the Portuguese star expressed his 'sadness' at Real Madrid.

Apparently 'sad' doesn't really mean the same in Spanish as it does in English. He's just annoyed with the current situation - he said that it was professional not personal. It's likely to be about a new contract.

Would I want the second best player in the world at City? Yeah why not? Get Messi in afterwards thanks.

Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.

Being a dad is the most natural and easy thing I have ever done. I don't get why anyone makes a big deal about being a single parent.

But adopting and giving a kid a better life is a great thing that he has done.

Lucky for him that he can easily afford the posh £135 a day daycare.

£135/day isn't posh...unfortunately it's standard price in/around london. presumably the finnish govt pay you to put your lad in his crèche?

We would become the Ronaldo show though? He wants everything to go through him, he wants the goals, the glory. We need to be signing team players now, not Galactico's.

No doubt he would be a success overall, but everyone who plays against him would nail him constantly, he'd be on the ground all the time, he'd want everything to be geared towards him and strop when Aguero/Tevez went for goal themselves.

A year or 2 ago, then yes, but now, we are almost beyond needing him.

Does no one remember what a shit cunt he is??? We HATED him. I just can't see him playing for us.

I can't fully make my mind up, I'm just balancing the opinions.

He personifies everything I dislike in football. Arrogant, selfish, diving, cheating, moaning twat.

I'm with Duckman and Slim on this. I think I'd probably just concentrate on the J-League until we got rid of him.

I suspect though that the owners of MCFC have certain standards of behaviour that they want their players to meet, which would rule him out.

You missed out greedy. Especially if in the light of everything that is going on in Spain at the moment, he is "sad" over the fact that his employers will not pay the tax difference on his income when the rules on foreigners paying 22% tax changes next year.
