My placing of the apostophe was indeed incorrect & UEFA do just use Champions League as in 'a league with Champions in it' as opposed to Champions' League which would mean 'a league belonging to champions'.

'Champs League' however is an abbreviation created by media etc & therefore anyone who uses it is no more or less of a sheep than someone who uses 'Chumps League'.

Is that enough pedantry for this afternoon ?

After I gave her for about the 100th time a rendition of you signed "Phil Jones we signed Kun Aguero" (this is her punishment for being a rag twat) I said what a good looking boy he is, she agreed and said its shite that City have these really likeable players in their team. As for Javi, I have to admit the guy is hot. City doing good buiness in the hottie department.
