Supported City since 1723 or it seems that way. (that is nearly 25 past 5 for the slow people.)
Started going to The Swamp on free tickets when I was at nursery. Les Olive handed these out like confetti just to get the numbers, and we could only watch the reserves. Good eh?
Nah! Went once to Maine Road and stood under the clock in the pissing rain and I was hooked. Derek Kevan was playing. Stan Horne too I think. I won't say never looked back - I did. But at Maine Road I felt part of it, part of the family, not a paying customer like at the Swamp. It's the amazing humour at City that draws me back. Anyone remember Alan and the spontaneous adulation he was given at our club, before drifting back into relative obscurity again.
Memories:-
1, The League Cup semi at Maine Road; Ged Keegan; scarf swinging to the sheer noise of Que Sara Sara etc
2, Enjoying the FA Cup final with my son last year. He had not seen us win anything.
3, Enjoying this QPR last game with him via text. In textland no-one can hear you scream.
4, Colin Bell's comeback. End of.
5, Colin being done; Glyn being done; Alf Inge being done.
6, Being the second class Citizens for so long - no longer.
Hope to be with you for much longer this time.
Pete

Hi Bob,
Don't ask. Places of mystery and pain; alcohol and tablets; mike and bernie. Feel happy to have a re-appearance again. Been mooching about on here for a bit. More or less since our email chat. Now I have the bottle and the humility to stand up and say I am Spartacus there will be no holding me.
(Think I should turn the power down on some of the tablets at times tho. Coz I end up spouting utter wibble. See above.)

I reside in Texas. Bunch of shit kickers and American football fans here. Slap me twice if I call it soccer, that's the culture. Been following City since I was about 20 and never turned back. Texas is crawling with gooners, United and Chelsea pricks. You'll find us City fans at the local bar being the loudest.

I am a City supporter from Zambia but I am currently in Leicester studying for the next 3 years. When I started watching football, I decided to support City because my brother supports United. I am glad that I chose the best team in the world. I have never been to the Etihad because I couldn't afford tickets and travel but after saving some money, I was able to buy a ticket for the QPR match. I don't know any City supporters. Hope I can make some friends.
Thanks
What a way to start!

It's absolutely fantastic to see you around again mate. I'm sure your old account can be reactivated as well.
That's life mate, ups and downs. For all of us.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Eh up people. Tommy here, newbie as of today.
I'm a yorkie but have supported City ever since watching my hero Dennis Tueart in the seventies.
Greatest moments are everytime we beat U*d but this season is the ultimate.
Can remember watching the rags win the champions league with last kick of game, and now to win in similar fashion and also have them thinking they were champions (got so many txts from rags saying champione) - how priceless was that!!
Had to have the game as txt commentary on my phone as I was in Belgium in Sunday playing with my band "Loose Change" at The Cats festival in Ieper. The best thing was that I was playing my custom City guitar !!
Got the guitar from the new City Store in about 2005 - it plays really well considering it was less than £100. Wonder how much its worth now !!
Will try to upload some pix of me and said axe playing on Sunday just before kick-off.
Cheers,
TOMMY
PS
Having trouble uploading pictures - can anyone give me top tips - ta.

No way - is that the same
Loose Change as the one whose name Stephen Merchant (quite hilariously) mocked on the Ricky Gervais Show podcast?

Hi guys!
Not really down with the forums but after Sunday I just felt I had to start mingling with other fans more to celebrate and look ahead to the future!
Go easy on me ;)

You have chosen wisely.
I have to ask though, the username - is it some sort of Partridgeism, or do you hit famous people?

Hello all!
My name is Abby. New to the site, but thought I'd give it a try because I LOVE City and wanted to join the cyper community. I was never a soccer/football fan until I met my boyfriend and longtime City fan, Kyle. I started watching soccer/football with him and quickly fell in love with Manchester City back when SWP, Bellamy and even Ireland were scoring goals for fun. Now I'm a huge fan who looks forward to waking up at 7am on my only day off to watch the blue moon rising on the horizon. :)

Why all the City tops over there will be well dodgy so it won't add to the clubs coffers lol.
