Wonderwall wrote:We were poor today, it wasnt down to hughes, it was down to the players. They couldnt even do the simple things right. The passing was awful and the decision making was terrible. Shay was top class as usual, however, so many players were caught out of position today. Which, in some part, gives a good deal of credit to the opposition. Birmingham came racing out of the blocks and really got the bit between their teeth, they closed down everything and gave us no space. They made it very difficult for us, however, I would expect our quality to show through and it didnt.
Hughes made changes early and I was happy with that. We are TOP 4 with a game in hand you bunch of gloom merchants. Some of the people on this bored sicken me with their negativity. People have been going on about us leaking goals, yet only Villa and Chelsea have a better defensive record! City are the only team to have lost only 1 game this season and that was against the champions and we were unlucky FFS. Take a long hard look at yourselves and have a word will you.

Fair enough. Considering he has been in charge for three months now, it's too early to call for his head. Give him time and let him bring his own players in. If he had had any money to spend that might be fair but look at what he has had to work with.

You wish he was gone even though we're fourth with a game in hand?
Haha, fucking brilliant!
And all this shit floating about the board that "we're in fourth by default" and "its only because other teams are even crapper than us".
So these teams are likely to pull out of their bad run.... but eh.... we're not?
Ok so, well I'll take fourth by default at the end of the season... even if it is because the sixteen teams underneath us were crapper.
total horseshite on this site sometimes. By all means bemoan a defeat, but the rest is so boring and predictable it makes for fucking painful reading.
I'm sure Robinho_Is_God will show up soon....
Then the gang will back together.

I blame Hughes for a few of his selection of players and the formation.

You are living in 2 points for win days. As is Hughes.
