Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Inter Milan president Massimi Moratti has confirmed that he has now lodged a €25million bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
Inter said last week they would not make any comment on the Tevez situation until after their Milan derby clash with rivals AC at the weekend.
The Nerazzurri won the game 1-0 and straight after the game manager Claudio Ranieri and the club were quizzed about the Argentine.
Ranieri would not be drawn closely on the issue, but Moratti has wasted little time in confirming that they have now made a firm offer of just over £20million.
No secret
"There are no secrets in football," Moratti told Controcampo.
"The offer is €25m. Now it is up to City whether they accept that bid or not."
Moratti also admitted they were not the only club chasing Tevez, including PSG and also English clubs.
He added: "However, I do think that there are a number of other clubs who are interested in him. There are some English sides and also Paris St Germain."
The news of Inter's bid comes less than a week after AC withdrew from talks for Tevez after Alexandre Pato shunned a move to Paris St Germain.
"At this moment in time it seems that we don't need Tevez, but football gives a different answer on a daily basis," he continued.
"I would keep all of the players that are in the squad right now, but there is still time until the transfer window closes. We'll wait and see."
I would take the money and run

Its sick that its half his true value and a loss on what we paid, but i fail to see what choice we have? The only other option is to bring him back in....
derby day the scores were level,

Given the fact the guy is 27, very damaged goods and hasnt played for 4 months Id say thats a very fair offer which City should take.
It also dumps Tevez out of the Prem Lge, and tweaks the nose of that twat Galliani and Kia who had set up a deal for him to go to AC, so it has added benefits. Consider it our little payback for effing us about over Kaka.

I wonder whether we'll be including a sell-on clause? Would make sense...

If he is to be sold for 20 mill we will have 50 clubs after him. I would be carefull he does not end up with Harry.

City would never sell him to another team in the Prem, not Arry, not anybody.
AC and Inter are fully aware of this hence why their offers are in the range they are.

You are right I realise that I also note his agent will play anyone prepared to pay his fees. 20 mill we should have them queing around the ground. He is still one of the worlds best at what he does, all beit he is aslo the worlds biggest twat on a football pitch.

If true, we need to take this deal NOW.
I don't think it is though.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

We accept their 1st offer of £20 mil, ( which is £20 mil less than his summer transfer value ) when PSG may be willing to pay £30 mil ?
Thank God you lot aren't in charge.

Thing is, we only have 2 weeks of the window remaining, and im assuming the sale of Carlos is a deciding factor in what we have to spend... So the longer this goes on, surely the less time we have to get our target man/men.
Saying that, im sure we're probably in talks with all the people we want to be. City are great at keeping things hush.
Just want it done and dusted now though, as does everyone im sure.

If RM thinks we need a player or two to boost us for what is the crucial bit of the season, get em in, we can worry about Tevez when we have a deal from one of his suitors tbh is days away from Milan.

Less than £21mil, nah feck that. Keep him at City for his contract, offset his original value for FFP purposes if needbe, keep paying his wages then in two and a half years time sue him for the wages x 3 to include compo etc. Failing that, get him fit and play him .... if he ever comes back of course.

We don't know if this is a cash offer or a loan plus obligation to buy etc etc but if they want him, it should be easily possible to get the fee up to £25 mil. The extra few mil helps offset the hit we will get on Kolarov in the summer.

Star (I know) ae reporting PSG have offered £25 mil for Tevez.
That will be getting closer to City's ballpark I think. If we can get an offer we are willing to accept, then give them permission to speak to Tevez (y know like how transfers are conducted) if all the Milan snakes are serious, they will have to put up or shut up.
Otherwise Tevez signs for PSG or stays here. That should get him focused.

I'm sure they would considering he's out of contract in five months and valued at around £5Mil - £10Mil.
I very much doubt we would and I doubt he'd go to Roma.
I actually think it's a decent offer from Inter. It's a sickener but the fact is that he's wiped a significant sum off his value with his antics. It's all well and good talking about being stubborn and standing our ground but in reality we need him out and we need to face facts. If there is something we can do through our lawyers after the transfer then great.
Let's try and push it up to £25Mil and do the deal.

exactly. if yr Tevez why the fuck would you want to leave England for Paris? Puts pressure on AC Milan not to bottle it or Tevez to sort his head out. I mean fucl me...he's lost his only mind with this bullshit of his. I can't recall a major sporting superstar dropping such a bullock as he has in the last 12 months. Luckily for him he regained his senses to get to hoist an FA Cup, so his immediate insanity seems only 2-3 months long, but it's been 13 months of complete horseshit with this fuckhole.

That's the great shame of it all though, in his eye's and in Kia's he hasn't dropped a bollock. They've played a blinder as far they're concerned. They've knocked £10 - 15Mil off his value and opened up more options for him, he's no doubt increased his bargaining power in terms of signing on fee and wages and will soon have engineered the move he was after. Looking at the clubs who are after him, reputational damage is hardly a concern either.
All that before you even look at his golf handicap.
It stinks and I doubt there is very much we can/will do about it. Cut or losses, take the £25Mil and never let him darken our door again.

We don't know at this stage, what happens if/when Tevez does come to sign any deal. I very much doubt we are just paying his current wages without either some kind of negotiated deal or, that when the time comes, we are going to nail his fucking hat on.
We won't just be letting it slide without getting something out of it that suits us.
