Yep, I forgot he was still playing over here. If you don't actively follow it, the MLS just disappears.
Along the same lines as Michael Owen saying on MOTD that united are still the team to beat. Forget about that team top of the league setting scoring records, nah no one wants to beat them. However, that team on the decline who've hit a bad run of form recently, yep they're defiantly the team everyone's dreaming of beating.

to be fair...let's not start another season of saying United are on the decline again, when they surely aren't coming off another title. We are in the ascension is what i think you mean. ;)
i'd like us to get some fucking credit instead of everyone saying how shit all the teams around us are ffs. Scouse, Spurs are looking solid. Arse are back. This is going to be a fucking long season and based on results over the last month it should be a really fucking awesome one to watch.
cheers

sadly, i cannot. They've practically shut the entire fucking thing down. And i've just rewatched 2001 A Space Odyssey as well. Anemic America. We've given up...sorry.

I am convinced all rational people would be happy to contribute in some way if you as a nation had a whip-round to get rid of this cunt once and for all.
However. Didn't you lot just send a big fuck-off science rover to Mars? Sounds pretty good to me. They should have stapled beckham to it.
2001 is a top film.
Anaemic. If you don't mind. ;-)

What a fucking knob jockey, jog on Einstein.
....but not many good players.
The experience argument is daft, as it means the same team would've won for 100 years. and Utd would never have beaten Leeds to the title in the first place!

yeah I think he overdid the Einstein references somewhat

That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.

Congrats on your recent Super Bowl triumph, Dave.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Hi guys, first post.
Beckham shouldn't be commenting on other teams chances, especially one that thrashed his beloved squad 6-1 and are dominating. If it was the other way round i don't think anyone else would be saying it. Stay in America you overrated arse :)

The Galaxy beating the Dynamo from the same country that wanted to widen the goalposts by 2 feet at the 94 world cup in order to get higher scores, their goal(intention) was to make it comparable with hockey scores as they feared the US would not take to a game with 1-0 wins.
Galaxy 1-0 Dynamo.
Attendance: 30,281.
Not a bad effort for a country that crowns world champions in team sports when they are the only ones in the competition.

Unintentional hilarity involved with name Houston Dynamo as well. All the KGB teams, the most hated ones for the obvious reasons, were called Dinamo in former Soviet Union. I find it somewhat hilarious that team from Texas, USA would choose Dynamo as their name. Then again their previous name was something like Houston 1855 because....errrr....ummmm.

They use to be Houston 1863 which was changed to Dynamo because Mexican fans protested the name which refered to the Texas Independence War.

i always thought they should have called themselves the Houston Whitneys, just for kicks.
