The 'DW Stadium' has to be the worst name ever for a ground.

Wigan have started well playing it on the ground and closing us down quickly. City not finding much time on the ball and playing it long too much at the moment.

De Jong and Barry are going to have to work hard today. Lescott and and Richards not giving any confidence at the back.

far too many passes going astray for my liking.
VERY shoddy
And its not just Lescott and and Richards , but Bridge's defending, also, that has me worried!

Tevez having a shocker.

Close for SWP . Just offside.

It's good to have Ade back in defence for the set pieces but that in itself is a bit of a sad indictment of our central defence

Starting to get things moving up front now, Tevez at the heart of both good moves so far.

Now looking better!

Ade playing mostly down the right and Petrov down the left have space to work.

Come on CITY (for some reason I thought kickoff was half past, oh well)
VIVA EL CITIES

"The adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee ... has banned Mr Joseph S. Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

SWP filling in the Ireland role very creditably so far with some nice ideas; unlucky that at least one of them hasn't come off

I think he and De Jong had a little competition to see who'd get booked first
