Anyway, lets hope we sign him and move on.

Agreed let's get something done.

Napoli have rejected claims Manchester City have made a bumper bid for Marek Hamsik.
The 23-year-old is seen as one of the most promising midfielders in Europe and helped Napoli finish third in last season's Serie A.
City have become the latest club to be linked with the Slovakia international, who has already made 46 international appearances.
The Premier League outfit are reported to have offered €40million (£35m) for Hamsik.
But after quashing talk of a potential bid from AC Milan, Napoli's president Aurelio De Laurentiis has now brushed off the latest speculation.
"It's just the same old story," he told Radio Marte.
"I have not received any offer for €40m for Hamsik."
The attacking midfielder joined Napoli from Brescia in 2007 and has gone on to score 41 goals in 143 league games for them.
Hamsik still has another four years on his contract with the southern club.

Maybe because now we are more of a threat to other potential buyers making them look elsewhere instead of a way of putting 5/10 mill on the asking price.

I guess it MIGHT be possible for them to have permission to talk to him without a transfer fee being agreed. I presume Boateng has more sense than to let the cat out of the bag otherwise.

They'll have spent just under £40 million on two players with Jones and Young and we expect them to spend another £30+ Million on Sanchez??!
