---------------------------------------Hart
Micah (if not fit, Zabba) - Kompany - Lescott - Zabba (if he at RB, then Kolarov)
------------------------de Jong ------------- Milner
AJ ---------------------------------Yaya -------------------------Silva
-----------------------------------Balotelli

That's assuming Tevez doesn't make the squad obviously as he'd be up front. Balotelli definitely ahead of Dzeko. Everyone knows we will not be able to play to Dzeko's strenghts (ie.put crosses in) so definitely Balo. He's faster and can create a goal on his own, like vs. Fulham.
If we are down and desperate and start to hoof the ball, then bring on Edin.

Dzeko will be owned by Vidic in the air and on the ground all day long and Jo will fall over his own boots somewhere towards the left flank.

Adebayor and Bellamy would be pretty damn handy right now.

i agree 100% with your team and above..
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As one fan said to me today it's Mario's time on Saturday. He has to step up and score the winner ,it's his last chance. Feels a bit like that to me and for that reason I think Mancini will play him up front on his own in a 4.5.1. Feels also like Ancelotti picking Torres because he sort of had to.

If he plays and plays like he has of late it will be like playing with 10 men but we have to live in hope.

Pretty clear from his quotes today that Mario is going to get the nod......fucking hell. Double or quits from Mancio

"Mario knows he must take more responsibility," said Mancini.

"We have six league games, plus the semi-final and the final. I hope Mario can score important goals.

"He could be the hero. On Saturday, if he plays, he has a chance to do well.

"Maybe if he scores a goal it could take us to the final. That would change his year."

stop worrying lads, it'll be backs to the wall for 94 mins then Nige will score a 40 yard thunderbolt with the last kick of the game. Then baconface's head will explode and ratboy will come out of the closet and declare his undying man love for wio.

Mancini is crazy. Either that or Balotelli and him are shagging each other.

Roberto Mancini was the man who brought us our first trophy in 35 years. He was the man that brought us our first league title in 44 years. He brought us one of the greatest moments of our lives. He masterminded a 6-1 win at Old Trafford, and a Wembley win over United. He challenged Ferguson, he argued with him on the touchline, he brought success, and he punched the air in delight with the rest of us at the madness of it all. He had style, panache and a winning smile. All those memories he gave us will never be forgotten, in a wonderful period in this club’s long history.
And I swear, we’ll never see anything like it again.

Same but I'd play Ballatelli upfront other then dzeko, he's simply on another planet atm D\zeko.
Next season he better be good as i think he's a direct replacement for Tevez.
And in the papers todcay it was saying Inter are ready to pounce for tevez, 30 million it said and Diego Milito?
If that's true i wouldn't have second thoughts.
He's be packed ready for next season right this very minuet.

Given the players we have and the attacking threat posed by the swamp-dwellers, I would probably line up as a 4-4-1-1.
Our strongest defensive lineup would be, in my opinion, (right to left) Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott and Kolarov. Given Kolarov's defensive frailties in the Premiership, I would probably put particular emphasis on the other three to stay back as much as possible.
Our midfield absolutely needs both Yaya Toure and Nigel De Jong to stabilize and gradually move the play forward, but particularly to win the space to begin to play our game. United's strength on the wings should not tempt us to simply defend wide positions, but to force their wingers to defend as well. I would desire to go all out with both Adam Johnson and SWP, knowing full well neither are terribly consistent. Their pace and creativity would offset any defensive liabilities.
Finally, David Silva would play just ahead of midfield with sole duty being to find space and feed the lone striker, Edin Dzeko. I absolutely refuse to believe that a striker with a great scoring rate in the Bundesliga and who has been impressive for Bosnia could entirely lose his scoring touch.
(Hart in goal.)

Aguero anyone? He seems to be the most similar to Tevez in characteristics even if he lacks the hard work; if he's going to be a success in the Prem nobody knows though.

I'd go with that with a change of AJ in for head it in . Kolarov might not be a great defender but he is not bad going forward and can still make a good cross every now and then which Mario can use. He is also good with corners and free kicks and you never know we might get one tonight which is in a perfect position for him. Finally, I don't see how you can keep AJ on the bench. He is just too tricky and skillful and hopefully he'll give the scum defence a torrid time tonight.
