They signed Julien Faubert on loan the other year. Doesn't automatically make him a world-beater.
Adebayor scores goals, should have been given more of a chance with us.
In an injury hit season last season and other off field problems he still managed a healthy return of 16 goals.
I don't disagree with that, but I do disagree with:
a) The idea that he's "good enough for Madrid but not for us". He was an emergency loan signing. He won't be leading the line there for long, i.e. once Higuaín is fit.
b) Your insistence that he was dominant in the air throughout his City career. He scored a couple of nice headers from crosses, but he never gave centre-halves nightmares by spending entire matches winning everything in the air. He didn't really
challenge for aerial balls like Dzeko does.
