Funny ain't it...How the rags, media and even many City fans have this stupid belief that the rags were always the big successful club.
They won their 1st honours on the back of taking almost half a team of CITY players after they had been banned from playing for City in the 1900s.
After that, their greatest success was dodging the fuclin bailiffs and digging out enough money to pay a pittance to their players.
It only changed post ww2, after City had allowed them to play at Maine Road (worst thing we ever did) and the post war City fans turned up in droves, thus financing their rebuilding under Busby.
In the 1920s, we even vetoed another Manchester club from entering the league to save their existance.
In the 1900s, City officials and players turned up and donated money to them at a fuclin "jumble sale", the rags were holding to raise money.

I never get tired of telling them that they have now returned to their roots and their true heritage....MASSIVE DEBT.

City fans should understand just how big our club was back in the day and also understand that we are returning to our roots and heritage....GLORY....and...SUCCESS. It's how it always was.

Doesn't the rags include two world wars? Infact i wonder how many other of those include two world wars which would knock 10 years of them.

I think it's saying that somewhere in their history, West Ham had a 69 year barren spell. Not necessarily at present.

hmmm, I believe West Ham were formed in 1900, won the Wartime cup final in 1940 and again in 1964 .... it's bollox
