Fair point, maybe i shoud of said he wouldn't of played much, just for cover. He won't be here next season, that is for sure.
Imo we've dropped a huge bollock not signing some kind of backup striker in this window. A relapse for Balotelli & we're one injury away from Jo playing a game every week. If that happens we'll miss our targets.
We're one Balotelli and Tevez or Dzeko injury away from being up shit creek, if we were to bring another striker in, what happens when they are all fit? We need a Hernandez, Bendtner who are happy to be paitent with regards to being back up.
Some of us were discussing this & were suggesting either a veteran or a talented youngster so that the problem doesn't really arise. Too late now though, we'll just have to hope they all stay fit.

Maybe Guidetti can be this lad?

He'd be a good signing for us.

Great movement off the defenders and a very cool finish. Such a shame he and Mancini never hit it off.

It would be highly ironic if City were to miss out on a top four spot and Bobby Manc was relaced by Mourinho.
He'd be coming in from Real Madrid and, in a convoluted way, conceivably bringing Adebayor with him. It might almost feel as though we'd signed a new player, without incurring a transfer fee.

I seem to remember how pissed off many people were with Adebayor when he got regular starts because of his laziness and lack of effort. He didn't do a great deal after the Arsenal suspension as I recall. Memories are short. I'm not of course defending Jo.

Jo took up a place on the team. Jo is a striker of about one tenth the talent of Adebayor... no matter WHERE he is played.
Its quite simple really.
He has to be one of the most infuriating players ever.
I'm glad he's gone, obviously not good in the camp.
Madrid might find out soon?

Two more goals tonight. I hope he gets a few sub's appearences & we don't just let him go without having a good look at him. Some young players go up a level when they get a few games in the 1st team.

I never ever moaned abotu Ade or Bellers so I'm allowed to say I miss them both. Ade is not a workhorse, he is a 1 in 2 striker with sublime skill. They are rare and should be kept.
Bellers is a pacy workhorse who scores a few goals.
JO is a string of piss with the strength of Ally McBeal, the pace of Mr Burns and the football brain of an American.
I'm kidding about the last part, chill out.

He got the man that was suppose to mark him sent off just couple of minutes earlier. Adebayor came on for Benzemá in the last few minutes and had a great impact on the game.

People wanking over adebayor all the sudden.
Anyone actually remember the performances he put on before he was dropped?????
How about the i want to leave/go to juve/go to AC/go ANYWHERE that isnt city shit he was spouting since the start of the season???
Fact is he's too good to be our fourth choice striker so he wanted to go and i think if he had kept his mouth shut and actually scored when he got his chances he would still be here but he didnt, he sulked like a fucking little bitch and spent most his playing time hugging defenders.
Awesome cross for the goal though.

It isn't a question of all of a sudden though is it.Not involving Adebayor fully in the squad was a very strange management decision and looks stranger as time goes by.I don't know what went on behind the scenes but clearly Mancini made that decision and was not to be moved on it.
I am not suggesting he would have been a main feature in the team but cmon Jo has played in plenty of games and isnt fit to lace his boots.

He was playing perfectly ok before he was dropped. It was just the usual suspects getting on his case. I don't think he's the answer to all of City's problems, far from it, but he was scoring goals & was better than Jo, so it doesn't really make much sense that he's gone without being replaced. He could easily have played at least one game a week, with all the games we have coming up & imo we wouild be much stronger as a squad if he was still around.
