I hear next year we're getting Puma...
...but seriously, I just got an email from the club saying all shirts are now reduced by a tenner. This would suggest that we're going to be getting our third home/away combo in three years come July/August.
I know Carlos needs to be paid but that's scandalous if it happens. I tweeted the club asking for clarification but we'll see if the respond. Anyone heard anything?

Well the third kit is in its second and last season and IIRC the other two were just for 2010/11 so YES we're gonna be on new ones again come next season

Kits change once a year. They've been a tenner of for at least a month. Am I missing something?

There was a rule where home kits could only change every two years, but that seems to have slipped under the radar somewhere.

Clearly, my point stands.

I thought that too. But in the great MCF.net kit thread overdose during the summer of 2009 I discovered that that particular rule has been scrapped.
Did you know we have had different annual home kits since the '04-'06 shirt.

I did yeah cause I did a count when I got the email. I also have every one of them plus away shirts so I'm my own worst enemy.
Just find it to be robbery with the frequent changes.

I've never understood this attitude, admittedly it is a bit annoying that they change every year, but no one is forcing you to buy the latest shirt.

With revenue streams looking to increase, I predict many more limited edition type kits from now on.

I stopped buying the shirts a few years ago because of this. How can they justify changing the shirts every single year. It's disgraceful the rags dont even do it anymore!

I already said that in my post, which you just selectively quoted -

I like to have the latest shirt. I don't like that the latest one changes every year. What's the problem?

Xavi mate some of us want a new shirt every year. I'm one as I like to have the older ones for 5 a side and current ones to wear.
Tracking back is overrated.

It wouldn't change every year if they didn't think people would buy a new one every year. Supply and demand and all that.
