I think it might be possible we'll be
looking at the rags squad and having a chuckle.
NQDP would have an aneurism
If Dickov hadn't scored that goal........

Especially if half of the current rags squad play for us then.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Less than half of their squad would get in ours now. The ones that would have a chance will be too old by then.

That's quite enough of that memory.
it's 8th jan 2011... it's 8th Jan 2011... it's 8th of...
Watching Corradi's debut on TV is one of the worst moments of my City supporting life. To see that our new signing runs like a duck with no feet in a gale, chucks himself over at every opportunity & is completely unprofessional to go with it, was fucking soul destroying. It was so obvious that he had no purpose whatsoever & the horrific realisation hit home; that I'd probably have to watch the twat for a whole season.
I watched Corradi's debut in Venezeula with CARL FEED THE CUNT in his bleeding penthouse.posh cunt.
Good memories. I remember how positive we both were about the game too. Chelsea wasn't it?

It's funny you know. Back then, seeing a lot less football I beleived all the hyperbole on the OS about each signing and always thought we'd be good.
Now we're rich and I view most signings with a jaded wait and see approach.
How strange.
Tracking back is overrated.

That's the one. Sent off for excessive sulking & I felt relief that it put him out of his misery.

I wasn't surprised though. I saw him few times for Valencia that year he was there and he looked really gash. Then, when we signed him, I went to some English speaking Spanish football board and found a topic about him. People were saying that he had been chosen as worst import player in La Liga! Knew it wouldn't be too rosy by then. I've seen him few times in Serie A since he left and he has been nothing short of abysmal there as well. Seems like a bad dream now.

Or looking at that squad and asking where it all went wrong as we sit midtable in the championship with Jason Scotland and Neil Mellor as our front two ;)

It is funny to think how far we've moved on. Remember being buzzin when we signed Trabelsi...that was a washout
