Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

They very rarely use the privilege for anything positive about the club so fucl em.
But how can they ban freelance photographers from using a public footpath?
Hi Mr H, have you ever considered becoming City's very own, self appointed, 'Agent Provocateur' ??
When all the camera toting media morons come hanging round like a set of vultures, you could make an innocent sounding comment, in full earshot, to the effect of "Well, well, well, I wonder what Lionel Messi/Benzema/Kaka (or any other appropriate name) was doing meeting all the players and then training with them....did you see the cracking goal he scored earlier ?? ".
Such a story could make national headlines in the following day's papers until the journo hack responsible for the story, hopefully got chewed to pieces by his/her editor for, ostensibly making it all up.
On a cold winter's day this might provide a good degree of merriment for you, Mr H.
Trouble with that is most of the photographers are only after pictures and might have trouble stringing a sentence together. They come to take a picture of whoever is flavour of the day ( Bridge,Bellemy,Tevez,Mario etc etc) in the hope they will get a picture to which some hack can add a negative headline.
When they get to the training ground some don't know the one they are supposed to take a picure of! If I said Benzema was inside having talks most of them wouldnt have a clue who the hell he was.
The other problem is that all the journo's come on here to read your reports anyway.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I thought this when they had the yellow ticker thing going across for about an hour, fooking wankers were loving it and couldn't stop showing the pictures. They are just so desperate for us to fail and jump on any tiny thing to get the boot in.

It seems they dont know whether to make something of it or just leave it as one of those things. Maybe somebody is in the background trying to write a story about how the disharmony guarantees we won't be successful.
They can say what they want because we are still coming and it will happen.
I think Vicki's already been onto them as all it says on Breaking News is:
Manchester City: The incident between Kolo and Ade is not serious. Or words to that effect.

The only bit that pissed me off in that little bundle of paper bollocks is where it says Silva will miss the game through injury.

Is that a hint to something you really saw ;o)
Maybe you should start leaking ridiculous lies to test the theory, like "Beckham is inside sorting out a loan deal" and "David Platt is a great coach"
Seem to remember DH saying one of them asked 'Which one's Tevez' at one point.

So it happens to others, but as someone said access seems easier to get for our players than other teams. Can't wait for the new training ground, provided it comes with Doug-access.
It was rather public, it was on the Humber Bridge wasn't it?

To be fair to Lawrenson, he's not such a wanker. From my Little Book of Man City:
"What will help City is the fact that they get big crowds, have a good ground, and the best fans in the country"
said this in 2001 apparently.

It sometimes boils over. In every training ground. Everywhere in the world. At every level. However why the FUCK do our little busts get all over tabloids????? Who is taking these pics anyway? Platt or Kidd probably.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

yes he was at utd, he also played for us. one of the most knowledgable blokes about the game around, top assistant and does seem to care about the club. from hs interviews he seems a bloody good bloke as well.

I think recent events like this will see the squad having closed traing sessions for 95% of the time, why should the club potentially give amunition to the press by having these open sessions.
