Nice day out for them.
And in truth I am sure Mancini will not be taking them lightly, and rightly so.

Two "typical City" tests coming up this week. Need to ensure we qualify on thursday and win at Sunderland on sunday, and not make a town halls of it. We played like turd for 45 mins at Sunderland back in March so its time we put that right.

We need to put the tie to bed early doors, so that means a minimum of two goals really. It is precisely the fact that Mancini will take it ultra seriously that leaves me just thinking they are going to get massacred.

Although we scraped a point in the end, second half we had chances to win about 5 or 6. I expect this to be one match where we show an improvement on last year from the off.

I'm sure they'll be glad to come to CoMs and showcase their talent on a bigger stage than normal domestic football(no offence Romania). If any of them are decent a club like Wigan, Blackpool or West Brom might just come knocking on the door for a bargain. Hopefully there fans will be out in force and we can have a good atmosphere like against Omonia, even though it will be nowhere near full!

when I was in timisoara last week, they said that they have sold 17 tickets in the away end.

Yes, cue the usual threads on here about attendance and media attacks for not being able to fill the ground.

im only joshing.
But as they struggled to create anything on their own turf in front of their own fans, they are really going to be on their own out there. Mancini is going to make changes but that just means the players have to show their commitment to keep in with a shout for a place. He will also im sure be right on the players arses about taking this seriously.
Our players have a lot to prove and although Timisoara will no doubt park the bus for large chunks of the game i just cant help but feel the players that get a start will take what they have to prove out on Timisoara.
Im partly thinking Adebayor here.

Play Given, Vieira, Silva, Ade, Jo, SWP, let Balotelli have a run for the last 20, but rest Tevez & AJ.

I'd rest Yaya for sure, and I think Tevez as well.
