How good is the game Football Manager for real scouthing?
I bought Kolarov there for about 3 seasons ago, as he is the best left back on the entire game.
Fun that Mancini can play for real :)
This guy Zapata is mint in central defence, plays for Udinese. Sign please!
Anyone heard of him?

Im sure I see an interview after the game last night where Mancini said he wanted two new left backs.. Liverpool will be mugs if they give us anything for Bridge..

No mate. They asked him if Bridge would be leaving and Mancini said no, because he wanted TWO quality LBs - Kolarov and Bridge - with a view to the task ahead. Garrido will of course be staying to make the tea, to help Silva settle in.
But there is something on this hashed-up squad system that I wonder about - what happens if a side has player with a broken leg, or 10 out injured in various circumstances. Can they replace people before January? Come to that what happens if you buy a new star 1st January? Does the squad system go out the window again until you have to name your squad on 31st?

Colombian NT player, seen him play loads of times (since I'm a Udinese fan in Italy) and he's quality at CB. In the last year or so he has been mostly played out of position (as RB since we didn't have any until Ferronetti came back from his 6-months injury) and has been error prone. Once back in his natural spot he has gone back to usual (high) old standards.
Don't think he coulb be a starting XI player if we want to challenge for the title, but he'll definitively be the first backup for the CBs.

How much did he cost us? I've heard 15 mil, then somewhere else I saw he cost us 18 mil, and another source said he cost more.

no it doesn't really matter. I was just a little curious. If it's 15 or 18 it's still a bargain imo.

Not really fan of defenders whose prime attributes aren't defensive but hopefully Mancini can mould him into good defender who can also go forward.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?
