Sorry I'm on my phone so couldn't paste the story, but its in the star. David villa saying torres would never join city because he's all about trophies. I know its villa saying it but obviously torres has been mouthing about it and not for the first time. I say we pull out of any efforts to sign the cunt. He's had one terrific season in england, was a one in three goal scorer at athletico and similar for spain. At club level he has won fuck all throphies yet he puts players like tevez and yaya down, who have won league and champions league trophies?

This 'only coming for the money' shit is getting really old now. If you have yaya toure, david silva and boetang join a side that finished 5th, iits pretty fucking obvious that that team will challenge at the top. What trophy is it that we need to win so players are no longer coming for the money?

I'd be very surprised if Villa's comments are recent about Torres not considering City. He has the World Cup to think about! Didn't Torres suggest to Silva that he should sign for City?

Torres goal scoring record in the Premier League is outstanding. If we have a chance to sign him we should. Of course he has an injury record and I'd suggest that is why we are building a squad so he will not have to play every match.
