My first ever post was an argument - Dev/Zorro was at the end of it.

You fell into a great situation. The board was looking for someone to bring Mo/Zorro/Dev/Erwin down a peg or 2. You were the man.
The stars were aligned.

Its a new day though, new rules. We're a pack of wolves. Controversial for the sake of being controversial newbies get frowned upon. Start attacking a regular at 100 posts, thats like putting the cherry on top of the goodbye cake.

Dont be so precious JC, newbies coming on and ripping into regulars unconstructivly for wanting Mancini to be given the boot doesnt get you over very well. My advice for new members is generally to slide into the background, leave controversy alone for 3-5 months, build up your numbers, be visible but not too visable, then 6 months down the line look for your first fight. Go for whoever gets the most stick at that point.

Eloquent as ever, Grob. Although I don't actively want our Manager sacked. I just don't think he'll take us to the Premiership Title and neither do 50% of other voters.

What can I say? I suffer fools. I let people wind me up easily. It takes a special kind of "character" to get me as annoyed as JC did. I wish he'd change his username, too. There's already a Crossan on here. A decent Fellow, too. I'd hate to get them confused.

Several established Posters have made me want to put my fist through my monitor on more than one occasion because of the Manager issue - but I've never taken it away with me. I've also been able to take some of their thoughts on board because you can learn alot about yourself from people you disagree with. Regrettably, I can't say that about someone who talks down to me and questions my intelligence.

Mods - why is personal abuse being tolerated? I've made my points, backed them up with evidence and I'm being called names in exchange. And there was me being told that the quality of debate had improved since Hughes got his cards...

I assure you i've spent enough time on Forums to know a troll / WUM when I see one. i.e. Taking on people for daring to disagree with their opinion on one subject (their only opinion in general) and then pretending they don't understand anyone elses points. I had far better back and forths with the Anti Hughes brigade. At least they had structure and intelligence to what they said. You just call me names.
