***Transfer Rumours Thread*** [ALL RUMOUR TOPICS MERGED]

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Considering the clause (and fee) would have been negotiated before his last two outstanding seasons in the Bundesliga his current value is extremely likely to be far higher than the clause value, which matches Mclaren's comments in the SSN interview about them having to sweat it out until Monday when the clause expires. There's no way on earth you can try and spin this as some smart move by Mclaren - it's blantantly his first fuckup in charge.

Just looked at the lads vid and there alot of good headed goals but how is he supposed to replicate those in the Prem when we never use our wingers to actually cross a ball?

If they wanted to hold out, why would they let us talk to him now as reported?

Because they would be in breach of contract (until Monday) if they didn't let us

But they don't have to sign anything so it'd make no difference, would it?

Does anyone really think that we just made up our minds this morning and flew out to speak with them due to McBrollies comments?

Without viewing the wording on the clause it's impossible to say - he could be contractually entitled to speak to whoever he wants to - you're putting too much emphasis on the club and not enough on the player's contract. This is going round in circles so I'm off to read another thread.

He will be a good signing if we can get him.

Would be a cracking signing, I'll wait until it's reported elsewhere with some better facts rather than suddenly believing any 'sky sports sources understands' bollox

Can he keep hold of the ball whilst our midfield catch up with play? Two-footed?

Whats all that scoring with his head stuff, is that even legal, I don't have many recollection of a city player doing it.

I doubt it. In fact I doubt that any player in the history of football has ever managed such a feat. Ridiculous notion.
