We are Leeds united or some other crap, apparently in the top 40? Leeds Leeds Leeds.
It is truly awful!

It clearly shows how few sales it takes nowadays to get into the Top 40

Not so, Craig. It's another "Killing In The Name" esque campaign orchestrated via downloads. One presumes Leeds United Forums / Facebook Groups have been telling everyone to download the track for less £1 to get the song in to the Top 40. I noticed it in the iTunes charts recently. Admittedly, single sales are in decline but it's still got to take some momentum to get it going.

Hi Garry,I just wanted to shake your hand and ask you a question.I go to COMS as mucha as possible but sometimes I cannot leave the house as Sophie.....sorry..Sophie is my Cat...... needs a carer when Im away and sometimes I cannot find one.
My question is ; Is it possible to bring Sophie to matches at COMS in her kitten box and can she come in for free?

I get where you're coming from though thankfully it hasn't had the same impact as RATM. Definitely takes a lot less sales these days to crack the 40 though

Midweek charts need a couple of hundred to get in the Top 40. End-of-week (ie official) needs around 800-2000, with the exception of the Christmas run-in, from what I remember.

Can't we just do the same with Blue Moon?

Which bleeding version? We hear 3 or 4 different ones throughout the season at home games!

I'd be up for that once we have something to celebrate. Perhaps a few different versions of Blue Moon released and all the profits go to Charity. Something local to Manchester.
Our best known version is by The Marcels, I think. Although there's a remix available starring Bingo Lewis playing the tamborine without actually using his hands. It's quite a spectacle.

It's surprising what a national following they have really (certainly enough to get a crappy song like that into the charts anyway)
VIVA EL CITIES

Blatter ... for eight years and Mr Michel Platini ... for eight years from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) on a national and international level. The bans come into force immediately." - 21/12/2015

Gotta be honest, I don't like that version and it doesn't get played at CoMS. No idea who did do the one that gets played all the time

I think you're getting a little mixed up there m8... the version of Blue Moon they play a lot that starts slowly and builds up into a sort of punkish style is by Supra, they do always play 'Pounding' by The Doves at every game as well.

That's right and definitely the best one, though BiBs correct in that the Doves did a version and it got played a bit at the start of the season but it's not really taken off like the Supra version has

Ella Fitzgeralds version of Blue Moon is the best IMO.

I actually think the best version is this one by Sha Na Na which used to be played at the Maine Road and COMS a lot over the years. I think it featured somewhere in Grease - I know the band themselves were in it.
