Does this mean we're not getting Stevie G?

Don't get me started on that ignorant, sun/mirror quoting fuck. Have you noticed how whenever he's in the studio giving us all the "transfer ITK talk" at the end whoever's presenting always thanks him and the ignorant cunt doesn't acknowledge, nod the head or say fuck all?

Argh!!! I think he's the person I hate most on TV.

I cant stand that England afficianado who is Nick Collins he looks like he should be a London hobo.Swansong just makes me piss with his itk persona yet he knows fuck all but at least he is getting a decent wedge for it.

That's pretty exciting stuff given its the first bit of decent transfer news. I like Milner, but his form and style of play doesn't seem all that different to Barry before he left. Slow and clever with a good shot on him and just broken into the England side.

Not sure I'd want him on the wing anymore than I would Barry.

Its a strange one this TBH. 25m? Is that what Ireland was worth last year when he was nominated for YPOTY? And I'd say his form was far better.

I used to buy milner on footy manager 2001 for mobiles - for about 6m - never made much of a profit either - we best be careful

defo shouldnt be paying that price, its nearly the british record.

Good player, though english. Good points - its marwood after another AJ. Bad points - the poster whos just said it reeks of the barry transfer. Then again, I think barry has done well done well for us (on the large). Milner can play anywhere and is best on the right or in the middle so he could play with barry/ de jong. Or on the opposite wing to AJ.

Any transfer dealings with current England squad players will have to be done sharpish because once they go to the training camp in Austria they are not allowed to enter negs untill after the World Cup.

He's not the midfield dynamo I think we need.

Mind you, you can bet your life Gerrard isn't coming so I suppose Milner was top of the "B" list. Can't say the thought of Milner arriving floats my boat so to speak, nor can I see why Villa would sell him unless they are totally skint and as far as Im aware they are not, or he kicks up a stink like Lescott.

True.

Fuck it, go for it if that's what Mancini reckons we need. I know he's versatile, but I don't want him being bought to play on the wing and I don't believe he's what we're missing in the middle.

Or if it's like the Barry deal, to be done and dusted by tomorrow tea time.
