4 hrs queueing in the cold and occasional rain for the privilege of moving seats to somewhere I don't want to sit. Got Level 3, by the time I got to the windows (only 8 out of 10 open!) it was either that or first three rows of the first level (i.e. the wet seats)

The only consolation is that if Pearce was still manager you guys would get sorted in about 30 seconds, no problem.
Ticket office overload is a sign of big things starting to take off (as well as the usual under-capacity at busy times of course!)

There were a few people there saying that they'd spoken to Danny Wilson on the phone and that he'd put a note on their account to save specific seats and from the sound of it when they got to the ticket windows it was right enough. Now I've warmed up a bit I think it was the first 5 rows of the East & CB L1 that were available.
From people that went up to use the loos in the store they reckoned that the TO staff up there were just sat around cleaning their nails etc. They should have had more windows open, the other two in the match day sales bit, the ones upstairs and the portacabins might have been an idea.
There was uproar at one point as GMR were reporting a statement from the club apparently saying that "Everyone queueing up was in a good mood" and that they had given out free refreshments, neither of which was true

Finally got through this morning and could only get a wet seat in Row B block 110, i suppose its better than being in the gods or in the North stand library. Going to call back though in June to try and move to a seat higher up thats not been taken.
