Lot's of noise about the sanctions we could face and even when we can legally face them, apart from that nothing just a bunch of pundits gobbing off knowing nothing speculating on things they have no idea about.

The way I see it, 2 factors have popped up:
1 the media (PL/red driven) have started harping about "the huge fine only"
2 City have taken on bord Mark Howard, an authoritative top lawyer in litigation on the subject matter
This reflects the balance of powers between the 2 contenders, imho.
PL are desperate to find a settlement to save their face and avoid the much feared scrutiny of a real Court of law
City are circling the wagon, showing they are confidently prepared for the ultimate showdown.
Which of the 2 outcome is gonna prevail only God knows, certainly not the blabbering pundits!

And sure as hell, irrespective of what the Kangaroo appeal pannel will sanction, the huge fine is the worse case scenario.

I have tracked that cunt Holt’s story from Monday. He wrote we should be relegated but not to league two because that wouldn’t be fair on the league, he stated a massive points deduction spread over two seasons to effectively keep us in the Championship two seasons.
Later the Sun stated we would be relegated for two seasons, then The Star the same & the Express.
It’s obvious once a juicy story about us breaks the rabbits are set running, indeed, some of the running rabbits embellish the stories. So what have I learned. It’s all fucking bullshit and guesswork and wishful thinking based on a collective hatred of Manchester City.

Stefan Borson is a self proclaimed football finance expert who goes on talksport and says nothing of substance ever. All hearsay and conjecture (and he flips his viewpoint from week to week). No doubting he's a City fan and also has worked in the industry in the past but on this he's just saying what he needs to say to keep getting asked back
