Statement in full, interestingly words 'opinion' used several times in instead verdict....

0 Fri 2 Oct 2026.11:41
Manchester Citu Football Club can confirm that at 7pm on Thursday 1st October 2026 the Club lodged its comprehensive Appeal against the opinion of the Premier League Commission, in relation to the Premier League disciplinary matter.
The Club's firm position is that, on multipl grounds, the opinion contains clear material errors, of law, principle and fact and is unsafe.
The Club is innocent of the accusations made bu the Premier League and a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence exists in support of all of its positions, relating to this case
We will continue to respect due process and are necessarily restricted in what we complete.

Love the choice of "opinion" wording, absolutely.
Agreed, it's popcorn time ;)

1. "unintelligible language"
2. "ACID QUEEN"
3. "never once fails to turn a football thread into a himseelf thread"
4. "thumbs stalker often resulting in repetitive thumb strain"
5. ignore the cunt. he's on permantent wum mission. only TIDs may know City

You'd need to make a very good psychiatrist in order to guess what next in a eight yrs long line of hatred...

In Roger Ailes/Donnie Drumpf's words: "don't know it for a fact, but many people say so..."
there must be some truth, then!

The beeb haven't published the whole statement in their article, no mention of the word opinion.....

In a short statement, the club said the commission's ruling contained "clear material errors, of law, principle and fact and is unsafe".

Asserting its innocence, the club added it had filed "a comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence [that] exists in support of all of its positions" on Thursday evening
.

Article then goes onto to say the FA said the verdict against City has "significant implications for the integrity of the game

Then in another article headlined... No10 stating Man City are not above the rules, when in fact the actual statement said NOBODY is above the rules, they are just adding fuel to the flames at every given opportunity.

Just read it. They're just trying to demonise City as much as possible, as they have done from the start.
It stinks, and I hope they end up having to grovel.

They also had an article saying Burnham had done a u turn on City, which again was fabrication.

Fuckin disgrace.

We need to fuck these jokers off from attending our stadium and blank them moving forward. I am sick to death of their constant biased "reporting"

Hope David Bernstein falls off a bridge. Obviously he hates our owners because of his religion, but some of the bollocks he's come out with whilst pretending to be a City fan is disgusting. Get back to Spurs you twat

Well I for one am!
IF, and it is still a big if, SM has put his own money in, so what? And if it was the AD government, also so what? Since the dawn of football, clubs have been funded by benefactor owners, usually also local and a (rich) fan, supplementing the club's earnings to better the club. That's why clubs are important parts of their community.
That only changed with FFP, which we all know was only devised to keep the cartel clubs at the top table getting fatter with no one able to challenge them. FFP has nothing to do with "protecting clubs", or football integrity.
An unjust rule will always be unjust, until someone is brave enough to stand up and fight the rule-makers. Without that mindset we'd still be living under a feudal system!
That someone is Manchester City. And we all know good always prevails over evil...

Explain your loophole message?

They created FFP to fuck us, so we strategised methods that complied with their farce, then they say we didnt but based on no evidence ? Its a farce.
