Or do we have to wait for a seperate sanctions announcement? Giving all the cunts more time to slag us off and magnifying the situation even more.

Honestly, I don't know.
As far as I know, normally in criminal trials it takes a subsequent earing (mainly to adjust the punishment to the particular case) while in civil cases it is normally embodied into the plaintiff allegation. Although it's entirely with the court powers to rule otherwise.
In this case, being essentially a PL proceeding, I don't a clue.
By the fact that they are taking time before the formal announcement of the verdict, you might be inclined to think it will come altogether, but I really don't know.

Thanks appreciate the reply. If it all comes together I'd be satisfied as it eliminates all the media speculation and doom mongering.

I fear it won't ever stop, methinks.
The whole shit has been engineered to, at very least, discredit City within the public opinion and and cut the loss of fans of the red shite within the young generations.
The halt of City success on competitions would be a bonus, but lives only in the wet dreams of the corrupt cartel.NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

Agree it's not going to go away anytime soon but if the pl publish their sanctions it'll stop every man and his dog speculating on the severity of possible punishment. At the minute it's everything from a hefty fine and 2yr transfer Ban to 60pts deduction and having 80% wage reduction. Anyway serious damage has been done and every fucker has a stick to beat us with now. Only a full blown high court ruling in our favour will shut the fuckers up

I didn’t write this - but it’s spot on!

Once upon a time, there was a really prestigious football tournament called the European Cup, which was based on sporting excellence. It brought together outstanding teams from across the continent. To qualify teams first had to prove themselves by winning their own league, this truly was a competition for champions.

With the glory though also came the opportunity for great wealth & eventually the principal of sporting excellence was overtaken by greed. The self-appointed elite of the time "the European Royalty" decided they wanted a greater share of the spoils & they wanted it guaranteed regardless of their performance!

The grubby little cartel (later known as the G14) threatened to break away & form their own Super League, unless everyone else agreed to their demands! Feeling they had little choice, UEFA caved in & the"Champions" League was born.

At the heart of this self-serving little cartel were 3 English clubs (Man United, Liverpool & Arsenal) & coincidentally the format of the new competition granted 3 places to English teams. It also changed from a straight knockout format to an initial group stage. So now not only could they still qualify by only finishing 2nd or 3rd in the Premier League, they were also guaranteed at least 6 lucrative fixtures each season.

BOOM! The money started rolling in & the big 3 got fatter, as they disappeared over the horizon, leaving the rest of the league with little chance of ever challenging their increasing financial dominance!

Then out of the blue, a wealthy Russian Oligarch, Roman Abramovich, rolled into town to bankroll Chelsea & gatecrash the party! With the gravy train now under threat, the greedy little threesome convinced UEFA to increase the English allocation to 4 places! Phew disaster averted, onwards & upwards, no harm done...

That was until the "evil" Sheikh Mansour bought Manchester City with his unlimited "dirty oil money!"!

Now with UEFA unable or unwilling to accommodate this latest unwelcome guest at the top table, a new strategy was required to preserve the dominance of the established elite. Without further a do, the "Financial Fair Play" was conceived!

This had little to do with "fair play", turning a blind eye to debt ridden clubs & owners that systematically drained money out of the game! It was solely designed to stop wealthy owners investing in clubs & making them competitive; thus ensuring the lazy established elite remained unchallenged.

Undeterred by the bogus nature of these new constraints targeted at them & any future investors, Manchester City embarked on transforming the club, with initial investment to break the cartel & putting top quality people in place, off the field as well as on it.

In addition to breaking all records on the pitch, the club has now achieved commercial sustainability & delivered 4 years of profit. The club is now independently valued at over £2B (reportedly outstripping all the Premier League old-guard). This has shown a huge return on Sheikh Mansour's £1.2B investment & dispelling the lie of "financial doping".

So what do the owners of the established "European Royalty" do now? Up their game? Risk their own money to meet the challenge? No! They utilise their stooges in the media to try & discredit City's achievements & demand UEFA do "something" to derail Citys' progress!

Well this is certainly a time to see the true color even more clearly for many so called sports journalists. Jonathan Wilson & Barney Ronay over at the guardian just going full mask off. Wilson saying that everything that was achieved from 2009 until present is now fake and not valid.

Ronay responding to the article by saying "How much of Joey Barton’s current persona is buried personal trauma from the Aguero game red card? Can we all claim mass compensation for having this inflicted on us?"

Absolute fucking nutcases. So wrapped up in a false mass hysteria that they are reinventing reality. In more normal times you'd section these people for years long treatment

Agree BB however we are not in normal times at all. That old saying the lunatics have taken over the asylum has never been more applicable to the state of the UK today.

So we just keep waiting for the 'Independent Commission' to actually make a public statement.

How long do we have to wait.

We still have to wait for the 'official' guilty verdict. I'd be surprised if this is long in coming. It's obviously been leaked but that in itself could be an issue for the PL. We have to complete the whole PL process including arbritration before when can move to the high court and pursue the actual fact that the whole process was neither independant non discretionary or fucking legal never mind against competition law

Just as an aside, our next game happens to be away at the dippers
This was “leaked” during a particularly long International break where the most damage to ourselves could happen as there is no PL football to discuss

Pound to a penny, this was a dipper that spilled this. The fact the PL hasn’t released a statement is telling

Completely agree. Leaking something on a Friday afternoon during an international break is a deliberate choice to have maximum impact and delay any party's response. Demonstrates clear intent to harm City, not to communicate the facts of what is happening.

Also pretty damning of the PL for them not putting out some kind of statement at this point.

I think it’s only a matter of time before some kid in a City shirt gets it from some fucking crackpot. Forget the club, forget the rest of us for a second and imagine it’s a child wearing a City top.
These absolute cunts with a public platform on SM and TalkSPORT are to blame. They’ve been judge and executioner all week. Guilty. Cheats. Fucking hang them !!! Anyone who doesn’t pile in gets battered on air. That’s not punditry, that’s winding people up for clicks.
Kids didn’t breach FFP. They walk to school in that shirt. And we’ve all seen how football nutters behave when they’re riled up. I honestly think one of these lunatics is going to take it out on a kid because some gobshite on the radio spent three days calling City scum.
Argue the charges all you want but dont turn it into a mob lynching ffs!!!. If a child gets abused over this, that’s on them.

I stole this classic -

Even if we were related to the conference league we’d still win another premier league before the Munchens do.

What a pathetic spectacle this is all becoming on talksport, crap managers blaming their awful careers on city’s cheating like they were the only team they played,
Agbonlehor saying villa wouldn’t take lost the likes of Barry like someone else wouldn’t have snapped him up - it’s an absolute joke at this point

It's the classic blame culture isn't it. Bad old City responsible for everything that is bad at my club. The amount of hysteria and absolute shite that is being levelled at us is unreal. Looking forward to going to murderville after the break that is going to be some atmosphere.

Today I woke up thinking of this whole shit (as I do almost every day since it broke).
Now, please pay attention for a moment to my background: I was breed by a family who cherished the British civilisation as the benchmark, the pinnacle of western values (and I can now ear most of you laughing at this strange kind of weirdo). Then I came to England, first as a teenager making small jobs and learning the language. Later as a postgraduate student and working inside the marine insurance business. There I saw you are normal human beings but still embodied with remarkable traits, like respect for the rules, appreciative of cool understatement, and several others which I respect the most.

Now, after the initial moment where my proud, confrontational nature prevailed, the more I digest all this hysterical mob lynch, the most I feel shocked and astonished, mainly thinking about the neutrals.
And I am perfectly aware of how passionate you Englishmen are about your football, and how intertwined clubs are with the communities.
STILL, WTF, let's assume for a moment that City's directors are actually guilty as charged, still what the actual fock, they are not serial rapists of children!!!
I mean, such level of hatred is unprecedented since the Nazies were bombing England every day! It's unreal, and Carl says above how is it possible that none, amongst normal people, does realise that is only matter of time, before something dramatically outrageous happens!

And please do not reply with clichés like broken England and nonsense like that.
outraged rant over.

Imagine what it would be like if we were found to do something serious like match fixing, bribing officials or a betting scandal.

No all we did was invest in the club, the city and make a huge contribution to the export value of the Premier league.

Its all wildly blown out of proportion. These people need to cop on to themselves.

It's built into the British psyche to be fucking insanely jealous of anyone having more/better than you - we love a winner - until they make lots of money - then it hate filled rants .... we're fucking weird mate..... City - people were glad when we stopped the red cunts winning the prem.... then as we got more and more trophies and with them the money... now everyone hates us....
