The Linesman at pitch level sees a ball being played forward and the Attacker is clearly offside.

He cannot judge if the ball is going close to the player or not.

VAR refs see the game as we , the TV fans see and have thousands of cameras.

The linesman flags offside . However TV commentators and VAR refs are crapping on about second phase.

If flagged for offside and the guy actually is offside when the ball is played , there can be no second, third or nth phase .

This VAR decision was deliberate.

Scoussers away was always going to be tough.

Yeah, they hacked us and pulled out shirts - we puled their shirts a bit too.

Title probably gone.

Probably...

Remember the 3-3 draw at home to Sunderland?

Mase deffo does as I think Kolarov scored twice if I remember correctly

Not bad.

Just like in the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, the dark horse coming from the back to win by a nose. This seasons title is going down to the wire.
It certainly isn't over.

Really disappointing result and a Rodri shaped whole in our team hurting us again. Nico doesn’t even make any major mistakes but we simply don’t boss games the same without Rodri.

My main gripe yet again though is the passiveness when we go 1-0 up. Always needed a second plus goal difference was a factor coming in. No excuse for not going at them.
Tracking back is overrated.

This. I've mentioned it a few times now but shackling the players when we go 1-0 up hasn't happened for a while. Creeping back in now.

Guehi has been immense for us since his arrival, it would be fair to conclude he is responsable. I have my doubts about that goal also, but we were naive to accept fair decisions in key moments.

Like everyone, I want the title, but I don't think we deserve it this season. Not that Arsenal was better or should win it, but because we've been Jekyll and Hyde all season long.

I’m getting sick and tired of seeing these ‘ bandages ‘ on a couple of players hands.
Will they kindly fucking remove this nonsense and man up.

The team picked was right, we absolutely battered Everton. Can't see what Pep did wrong.

Fucking pathetic mistakes at the back cost us tonight. 15 minutes of stupidity by Guehi, Kovacic being too weak and schoolboy defending at a corner.

Although we should have been playing V 10 for whole second half too don't forget.

The team picked was 100% correct - putting on Kovacic instead of Stones was a fuckup.

Kovacic cannot play premiership football anymore.

Too many poor performances last night but still massive individual cock ups costing us.
Guehi, Khus and Kova at fault but boy do we miss Rodri. Nico G is like a deer in the headlights so often.
Doku 2 worldies but can someone show him how to cross the ball.
Donna for such a mega presence he's so weak at corners.
The Kova ball to Haaland was immense like the Doku ball to him at Burnley- very similar goals and finishes. We should be doing that all the time.
And we really got away with the Bernardo incident near the end, how that wasn't given as a pen. Crazy by him.

Agree with most of that. I think if Guèhi doesn't mess up our heads don't go and we win that game. Usually we might have 1-2 players that are bellow par, but last night it was about 6 players that struggled in the second half.

Bernardo lost his head at that corner. Crazy that it wasn't given as a pen. I wonder if that's why Pep took him off.

Too many times this season we have gotten into winning positions and dropped points, couple of seasons back when we went ahead we didn’t lose , 12 points dropped from winning positions since Christmas is shite. From being in a position after Arsenal to put pressure on them getting a decent win at Burnley to now hoping that the 3rd bottom team can get a win to give us a chance of the league is a poor performance. Too many waiting for someone else to do something and coasting along when get the lead. Semenyo fallen off cliff since league cup final.
Worst part is even if West Ham do get a result Sunday I wouldn’t back our side to win the remaining games.
Would have taken 2 cups at start of season and second spot but will leave me thinking wasted opportunities to gift it to Arsenal.

On both sides last night an awful lot of slipping , some at key moments, still no excuse for getting througha and shooting at the goalie, rather than inside the near post.

Saw the replay a few times.
That was offside. Barry is going for the ball, after Guehi.

No doubt about it, we were robbed.

Players do have wet surface boots and so it baffles me why they don’t fuckign wear them.

Nico slipped and it nearly cost us a goal and then semenyo played ice skating for the remainder of the game.

I juts do not fuckig understand why they did nothing
about it.
