Gonzalez and Marmoush look like great signings, but Khusanov looks to be on another level.

Quite remarkable really after his first 5 minutes of his debut when every single of us was WTAF

Every time Rio is on he mentions the Chelsea mistake. It’s almost like he’s not watched him since.

All jokes aside, we need Kolarov as a coach. No “yes sir” to Pep. Get him in!!

Let's not forget he is a young lad in a new country thrust into a huge game within days of signing and probably with very little training or coaching and he probably doesn't understand much of what is said. And it's not as if his partner, Akanji, is a defensive rock.

Mentioned in the match thread I'll wager he had a tough upbringing and I think that will stand him in good stead. He's a tough cookie physically and I'll bet mentally too.

He will be all right. No doubts about it

Not far off the money

Hes not bad is he? Thing is many people (probably ones who dont watch us much) still refer to his mistake in his first game against Chelsea, but we know different and there is no doubt that he is playing a huge part in this new team. we would be a long way back without the superb form of Khus, Guehi, Cherki and O Reilly. Add to that Semenyos impact, although it has to be said he had a poor game yesterday.

The mistake that actually should have been for Akanji to sort out ?

That’s the one! Also , Ake has made numerous fuckups that Khus has thankfully managed to correct - too many to remember actually.

I love this player.

Anyone notice him creeping forward a little more, getting in amongst it? Imagine if he can pop up Nico O’Reilly style and add goals to his game.

Yes, a few times last night. Getting more comfortable with his role and now adding the attacking as well. Pep, please leave the defence alone. Love Khus, future captain.

Agree he is a future captain, I've always preferred a defender as captain due to their scope of the field.

That said Ruben I touted as a captain not long after he arrived, sadly injuries have affected his confidence/decision making, turning him into more of a liability these days
