Definitely.

You take away his Goal scoring record he is not a very good all round team player.

Many argue if he is scoring then that is all he has to do.

You take away his Goals you are playing with 10 Men supported by Opta Stats and Heat Maps. He is a lazy player.

Great comedy Zabba , really made me laugh

"take away his goal scoring record ..." blimey the guy that has set records since he was a teenager . Wow. Lazy player ? yet he's back there in defence at corners and free kicks and being a tall man he gets to the ball. What games do you guys watch ? In absence of injured defenders like Dias and Josko ( where is Josko btw ? him and Kova freeloading , i think) , he has been very good in defending corners and freekicks. It is not Haarlands fault we have wingers that blow hot and cold and can not cross the ball.

Haaland has grafted really well in his last game before Forest. Most on the forum recognised his efforts . It was even highlighted on MOTD. Its what he needs to do more of. What happens, he misses the next game with a mystery twinge in traing then conveniently fucks off to France for some me time. To be honest it is all about me time with Haaland. Great goal scorer but not a team player - and we do better without him points wise.

Take away his goals and what have you got.
Well how about a load of assists as well.
Best goalscorer in the world, defends brilliantly. - scored shedloads for all his clubs and got an unbelievable record for Norway hence rhem topping their group and qualifying for the World Cup.

There cannot be one person on here who doesn't think we have the best striker in the world. The boy is a beast. Equally, there is not one of us who doesn't think we don't play to his strengths.
Our pedestrian build up completely nullifies Haaland. Play to his strengths or sell him and watch someone else benefit.

Agree with this. I do think he's lazy sometimes, but then I think about all the chances to play him through or cross to him and we don't. He must get frustrated so I can understand him walking around to a certain extent. It's just annoying to see

3 goals in his last 11 games, 2 of those penalties.
That is poor form for a main striker. He needs to make something happen. We've not changed our style of play, Pep refuses to do that. At the start of the season Haaland was scoring, albeit not at his previous rates, so he has definitely gone cold. Most of the time he doesn't look arsed or make the runs needed. He needs to fucking grow a pair and stop crying. At least Mario was fun to watch

At the moment, in this day and age football, there isn't a striker that is better than him. You cannot find someone better and luckly enough we have him.

There are two reasons he is out of form, imho:
1. He doesn't have a competitor on his spot - Marmoush isn't any danger.
2. The services he is getting are an absolute comedy. After forest scored he had one decent pass and he was pulled down in the box.

Letting him go for any money will be the biggest fuck up we will make.

Damn, didn't realise it was that bad.

I think there's definitely some saving himself for the WC going on.

As long as he is here, unless we play two up top, he is always going to play and be the main man. No-one signing for us as a striker is going to doubt that so unless we bring in someone like Omar and pay inflated wages, we are going to get substandard backups.
I get all the lazy-arsed comments but you watch us live in a stadium and you can see his body shape and the initial movement only to see Nunes or anyone, pass the ball back. That would quickly fuck me off so I understand him stopping.
We are simply not setup to play counterattack and as long as Pep is here, rarely will.

When he didn't play against Leeds, you saw the freedom they had to get at us. He occupies so much of their attention it's very noticeable when he isn't.

Vardy or Son in their prime , preferable to Haaland? Or start again with a young Aguero. Would you still prefer Haaland.

Haaland is a goal machine. However, without doubt our managers DNA and it will never change is to retain possession, Haaland thrives on no look service, by that I mean as MF Player you know Where he’ll be so hit.
that space he will do the rest, In Madrid first 15 mins when Doku was flashing balls across the goal he was on his heels. It’s a tough one having a pop at him, but he’s judged by his goals. That said if Doku plays Sav may as well sit on the roof, fucking mind blowing how he gets away with his selfish actions. Twice if he had gambled in that first period he had tap ins, Mendy owned him, bullied him and ruined him.
Sterling and Sane would have had a couple of goals. Savinho is not helping us get the best from Erling IMHO.

The whole point of using wingers is to get the ball into the box asap for one or two attackers to run onto. Doku seems not to understand that , rather he thinks it is ok to completely stop the ball and wait a few seconds. This enables the masses to get back and cover. Even if he does get to the line and play the ball back it goes across a completely blocked and crowded area. Rarely , as with Semenyo recently does a clean cross get played across the lines.

All the valid debates aside, why does he not move and throw his arms up in the air in some games then every now and then put a big shift in?

Agree Zuri, an annoying characteristic of Doku's play. He also pings them across at the speed of light. Got to be lucky to get on the end of his crosses

Doku delivered in Madrid for 20 mins, we were on our heels in the box. Saviniho is just a waste of a shirt. Weak head down. Mendy had as easy a night he will ever get. All this said Pep and his coaches made us look like we did 10 years ago in the CL clueless.

Doku delivered once and that was it. Instead of passing he ran several times and lost the ball , out of control. Thereafter , ( first goal) he went missing.
