Because he's a specialist full back and we don't have anyone else. The lad playing left back in his place is one of our highest performers this season so makes sense to keep him there.

They're not really sitting that deep. There's space to exploit but all the balls are being received with our backs to goal/.

Haaland had a chance to score but missed, but he's just missed gain with a better chance. He's done fuckall but miss two chances.

Few of our players seem on it. The Norwegians are good value for their 2 goals, in fact they could easily have had 3.

I thought Henrie's analysis of our backward and side to side play after the derby was interesting but only confirmed what many on here have seen week in week out.

He’s never played right back in his life ! Left wing-back, inverted wing-back, occasionally left midfielder/winger or even defensive midfielder on the left side

A specialist fullback? He's a left back FFS. Ake wouldn't play right back would he? Specialist fullback and he's gone with a midfielder as our main RB this season for the majority of game haha
